2020 Yamaha MT-125 Review | Visordown.com

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

The 2020 Yamaha MT-125 is launched to introduce a new entry-level point for Yamaha's popular hyper naked MT motorcycle range
Yamaha has revealed its smallest iteration of the popular MT hyper naked range with the launch of a new entry level 2020 Yamaha MT-125.
As well as a new design, the MT-125 features an all-new 125cc engine featuring advanced technologies inspired by those found on the sports-inspired Yamaha YZF-R125, including VVA (Variable Value Actuation). Operating up to 7,400rpm, the engine is designed to provide a smoother and wider band of torque making it quicker but more refined to ride.

    How is £4.5k good value when you can get brand new SV650s in that range, that's silly money for a 125 doesn't matter how much led lights you add to it or if it has 2HP more IMO

    Because not all people wants to get an A2 license and because the components in that bike are probably better than the ones on the SV650, the SV650 only good thing is the engine

    @@marcos1669 the sv650 is as quality as a simple cheap naked can get. They never break. They handle great, theyre easy as hell to work on. Theyre cheap af. Love the 125 if you want but the sv650 is one of the best all round street bikes sold today.

    Value for money? Can you tell me how this is £1500 better than a Zontes ZT125U and I'm not talking about depreciation or "street cred", I mean a proper comparison ride, handling power, breaking a normal day to day use .

  • @JDMz

    @JDMz

    2 жыл бұрын

    Because the mt will last through the winter. And they're alot easier to source parts. Zontes, any Chinese shite are hard to get parts and the moment you get salt on them they literally rust very easily even adding acf50 doesn't do much. You get what you pay for. Plus the keyless system is garbage on some.

    Why do nearly all contemporary bikes require your knees to be bent almost 140 degrees? Is it trendy? Is it cool? No - it's just bloody uncomfortable. For pete's sake design bikes so your legs don't have to be scrunched up all the time. It's not a racing horse with a jockey on top. It's a very modestly powered little motorcycle.

    Deffo got paid to say it’s better than the Ktm Duke

  • @joey5773

    @joey5773

    4 жыл бұрын

    Dude.. it is. Alot better. For example, the Duke believe it or not is actually restricted to 62mph, anything above would be killing the engine which would over time make it extremely unreliable. It also is actually aimed at smaller riders and does not have a good seating position (in my opinion and others in reviews anyway) It also doesn't feel very bulky and built. It feels a little cheap for the money. I would rather ride a Cb125f than the Duke. I use to love the Duke, until I saw and experienced one for myself. Another little thing is.. being ktm, the parts are actually quite pricy so new parts would most likely cost alot over time.

  • @yarikchervonyy9253

    @yarikchervonyy9253

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@joey5773 They're not restricted, they are for the first 700 miles to run the engine in. I have one and it does just over 70. Also I'm 6'3 and it actually has the highest seat height of all nakeds, look it up. I have crash bars on mine, the new shape feels bulky enough. Parts I agree, mine is a 19 plate so and stil has warranty so hopefully no issues anytime soon.

  • @JDMz

    @JDMz
