I was a neighbor to Walter farms for over 30 years. If you think this is impressive you should see the show when all 20 of these combines, 15 or so B trains and grain carts are harvesting the same field. Still try to see it every year.

I have worked in the field beside them. We had 14 combines and had 9 other custom harvesters working with us. When my boss left b an d Walters took up most of the Fields. they are a big outfit they do alot of hauling for case. Well Rockie mountain equipment in Lethbridge. They do everything cows grains equipment. At night they look like there own city. Crazy to see that much equipment.

That Fendt on LSW tires, you can bet your ass the driver is enjoying every minute of spurring on that beast down the field catching combines every minute of the day. Can’t get better than that.. (well actually it can nothing beats the sight of a well plowed field after a hard days work)

Big thanks for this beautiful video. For me it's such a privilige to able to watch how harvest and other field action is done on youtube. I've never been close to the USA and probably ever will be but I love watching videos like the ones you're producing and sharing. Great thing with combining sound with drone footage aswell. I wish more youtubers would have that approach when making videos. I can almost feel what it would be like to be at the field myself. I used to be out around fields myself as a teenager watching a lot of farming but since I moved in to town I never get the chance, sadly. So once again, big thanks. Your videos are making me thrilled and want to have the smell of mature wheat up my nose as I watch. Have a good day.

I am like a lot of the folks watching it makes you home sick for cutting wheat. 20 years ago I was living in Illinois and travel to Colorado (Eads) and harvest wheat for my vacation. A lot of fun. The last 14 years I have been living in Colorado and now retired and moving make to Illinois very soon. Enjoy your harvest and I will enjoy your videos.

Best of luck we just finished up in Southeastern Colorado. We run two s670 with a 1025 bushel grain cart on 9320 JD tractor. We harvest about four to five thousand acres per year. We averaged around forty bushels on our dry land and about 70 on our irrigated. We've been in an extreme drought since September, so we're lucky we harvested anything.

Okay, I have a cousin that farm just over from you in Johnson Kansas and he told me how dry it was. Sounds like they didn't have very good wheat this year even on the irrigated.

organic_colorado_bob ___ same story basically everywhere in Europe. We’re on our 3rd cut of grass silage and this will be the first with a proper yield. Climate change has been killing silage harvest over the past 48 months. We’re drying up!

Great video! I think I found a picture of you combining on the back of the new 1/64 J&M X1112 Patriotic Farmer Edition Grain Cart. I remember a video from last fall where J&M was out taking pictures, the one they used is a night shot. Or maybe it is another farm with a Versatile tractor, black Patriotic Farmer X1112 cart on floaters and a S series Deere combine!

I believe Walter's farm most of the Blood Indian reservation south of Lethbridge, I fly fish on the St. Mary's river down in those parts. I did the harvest run in 1998 with an outfit out of Saskatchewan, Blackwell was out stop in Oklahoma. See any John Deere X9s yet?

I was told they farm about 101000 acres but that was few years ago , I know they keep there dealership very happy with all that iron

I've only seen up to 10 combines running in one crew . The crew I worked for we only had 2 and one grain cart

This is handy work with no real effort involved due to no lodged crop and very light crop yields.

Crazy there is a cemetery in the middle of the field

Great Video, Mike! Quadrac for a grain cart seems overkill to me. Does the Customer require minimal ground pressure?

Mostly conventional tillage. Most of the wheat in this area had cattle grazing on it over the winter.

Mike Less - Farmhand Mike you couldn’t graze cattle over the winter here in north east England, far to wet. Looking like an early start to harvest over here, very wet back end, winter and very dry (drought) spring, crops not going to be blessed with yields this year unfortunately. Customers saying they will be spraying off winter barely this week, still don’t think we will be into wheat for a good month though.

Auger cart drivers sure do get their tail run off ! I am sure they have a system down pat . How would you like to fill all of the equipment every day ? A few dollars there for sure .
