Best presentation of Vespa GTS 300 I found in the net!

That yellow Super would really look great with all black trim. I think most of the flat finishes would look great with black trim as well. This was a much anticipated and informative vid. Enjoyed it a lot.

Thanks for the video and info, Robot. Just wish Vespa Motorsport had another dealership in the Southeast. US. My 2012 GTV300 is still going strong with 13,500 miles, but love the new features available on the new ones.

If the tech package came with a GPS and a moving map that took OpenStreetMaps, read from USB, then it would be a nice upgrade. A Dual USB-C port setup with a cap/plug might make a nice add-on, now. I dislike strongly the flat colors, though some people will like the flat black. Good videos, thanks!

When I saw the color on the website I thought more of it as not my thing. To be honest though. I want and looked at them today. The Gas 300's they had were the Verde Relax, the Red and Yellow. The relax looks really good in person. Plan on purchasing one soon and may go that route. Married with kid so plenty conformable in my manhood, lol. Ridden all sorts of other bikes but like scooters too. The Relax color to me just fits the retro vibe and is a huge shout out to the 50's to me. I do love the Blue color as well so not 100% sure yet. Also, to me the GTS is the best deal of the group. I just do not see the others as being quite as good of a deal, except the touring.

Will def want the kickstand.

I like that gray color too! It reminds me of a classic color. The white is a bit too white. I think it would be great if they had the old ivory color instead.

I always thought that the Original GTS 250ie DashBoard Very informative for its time i liked it as the Brand Evolved the Removed alot of the DashBoards Features just to Sample them back to the Customer Via a App. Now for a Premium Price.Their the go trying to Fix Something that wasn't Broken .

If you have a Bluetooth helmet how does everything connect? Does the phone connect to the vespa then the vespa to the helmet? Seems like either the vespa or phone would have to connect through Bluetooth to two different pieces.

How painful to get out of a 2011 Vespa GTS with a top case and tall windshield into a 2020 Supertech concrete. Need a matching top case with a flat rack, a new front rack and new tall windshield.

Very informative video! Two questions: 1. Can you take the Vespa 300 on So. Cal. freeways? 2. Do you need an M1 license to ride one of these 300GTS new Vespas here in California?

The 300s do well on the freeway and will keep up with traffic in most situations. You do need to be cautious not to over do it or hold it wide open for long periods on the freeway. The smaller wheel size of the Vespas can be a little less comfortable and you may get some vibrations at higher speeds. We've got a lot of customers and employees that commute daily on the freeway with their 300s. Yes, you will need an M1 for just about everything on two wheels here in CA, but don't worry, it's a fairly painless process.

With the double L pronounced a little longer than ‘Jello’, not as a Y as in Spanish

Forest green with a black seat instead of tan. That sucks. British racing green with tan seats is the classic look. Can you swap for a tan seat?

Why does the supertech look darker around the screen then around the headlight? Is this somehow due to lighting? Looks drastically different in video.

Personally, this phone tech stuff bores me stupid and focusing on a small device a real headache. I want mpg, distance, revs and speed in an analogue style presentation. Will these machines become economic write offs when this tech goes wrong? Like the scoots though and I'd love to see how they ride on the road.

Why? Scooters can be used and are used as people's main source of transportation, depending on what part of the world your from. So many in the US just have this well, if it's not a big bagger or dresser it's a toy or girls ride... not true. And I live in ohio and have rode motorcycles for over 30 years, Also had other scooters (Yamaha)but now have Vespa GTS 300 Touring l and love it and will not go back to motorcycles, nothing against them I just love the simplicity and the raw enjoyment of my Vespa.

Does they all have the exactly engine,horsepower and torque ?

I'm a good sized guy 6' 200lbs and have no problem with brakes good stopping power. Obviously not a sportbike doing stopies, but very respectable , and much better then my scooter of old.

Yes, all the GTS 300 models in the US market have the HPE motor in 2020.

sabbottart To be fair they aren't all that bad I have a 07 GTS 250 yes it's low milage lives in the garage and has never seen wet commutes but it's spotless All Vespa need to do is apply a stone chip type undercoat on the belly but they spray the whole frame the same It's probably cost effective or are they too lazy to adopt the paint process but they need to address the issue at some point as it spoils the reputation of a proven scoot.

Are those side reflectors front and rear obligatory on US? They ruin the beautiful lines of the Vespas. Just IMHO

Agreed! That's why we offer a kit that removes them and returns them to the factory intended location.

If you're a fairly experienced rider, you should have no problem. That is about the cut-off height for the bigger Vespas. There are also options for lowering the suspension or shaving the seat down to get a little better reach. We'd recommend sitting on the bikes and see for yourself - look into the 150's if you don't feel comfortable.

I'm 5'2" - female rider - I had a GTS300 and found it to be a pleasure. You aren't going to be flat footing it, though.

i prefer flat footboard for storage in front of my feet

@@LMTDDS ya I dont think HD will die but I think they are going have to get back into focus, they are trying to appeal to people who actually do not have much intrest in HD, and if they buy electric bikes and such they would be more drawn to Asian bike or European models. HD needs to get back to there roots and embrace the bike they are a classic V Twin and that may mean scaling back production and such ( a thing that no company wants to ever admit they reached their peak) I think as long as epa and such allows them there will always be a call for that classic v- twin cycle but just not necessarily growth for it. Also I think its possible the company could be bought out by another larger company, because greedy stockholders will not put up with no growth and just a maintaining healthy company. I rode HD a lot but they lost me when they started making the dealerships yuppie coffee shops. Just my 2 cents carry on! brother.

I hear ya, well spoken. Hope they survive. They need, somehow, to attract the younger riders and entice them off the Japanese sportsters. Not easy without a racing pedigree. Buell tried it briefly but he couldn't compete with the 4 majors. Thanks for the response.@@davidchereneimmel8820
