A Tesla has mad acceleration witch is one thing I really like about it
The efficiency tires are really unhappy in the corners. Wonder how much range you lose if you put performance tires on an EV

Here in California, a used Tesla Model Y costs above 45k. I know there are tons of people who bought it for the tech, or maybe something else but, I just don’t get why it’s very expensive for a “affordable” ev vehicle as Tesla used to claim (Supposed to start around 32k).
These cars are awesome!
Even just looking at this I can tell the model Y rides hard and the sound insulation is lacking. The model 3 is way better in those regards

2023 Y is much quieter due to dual pane windows. Suspension updates made a huge difference in ride.

@@m3whb it's still using 255/35 and 275/35 tyres. No amount of suspension can make it ride smooth lol.

LOL the wind noise. Tesla has a lot to improve.

Wind noise is much more noticeable in an EV as opposed to ICE vehicles. The low drone of an engine/drivetrain at 2K RPMs counters wind noise a lot.

@@Molecan I agree, but Teslas do have a lot of wind noise. Our BMW with mild hybrid is much quieter than our Model Y at any speed/RPM. The new Model 3 supposedly resolves a lot of these noise issues.

Can’t understand why people go and buy a car that cost more than what it’s worth. Never in my mind will I ever buy a Tesla. Especially being $55,000 no thank you.

I mean this car drives itself, also has the touch screen in there you can play around it, censors that helps making driving a lot easier, I mean the Tesla 3 and Y r fine for their price, s and X are still a lil much.
I dont get the appeal of these things. It sounds, drives and seems like an overall cheap, non refined experience.
