yeh... it the best SUV in terms of Ride n handling.... it will suerly make a dent in the competition.... but it needs more feature offering like the hector or the seltos....

At 24 lacs on road it competes with jeep ,karoq,vw t roc,hundai Tucson, but it is capable of some off reading unlike seltos and creta which are purely cross overs and still are marketed as suvs .In india 🇮🇳 people should actually understand what an suv means

Dr Deepak Khanna harrier competes with compass , xuv500 , hector and even Tucson whereas seltos and creta are a segment below C segment and karoq and t roc are Audi q2 and q3 , BMW X1 rivals

Couldn't agree more .... I don't understand why all these renowned reviewers always compete Harrier with segment below Creta and seltos... They stands nowhere to Harrier in terms of Size, Engine Specs, rugged platform , built quality .. performance and off road capabilities .... They are just over priced under powered cross-overs ...

Anubhav yes they are a segment below it’s because prices intersecting that’s the reason , whereas not underpowered because the power according to their sizes are adequate because they are 400-500 kgs less also na than harrier hector and maybe not overpriced because the feature list is pretty extensive and that’s their selling point only na

@@prabhanjannavarathna6466 steering is the best thing, you feel confidence when you hold it, it gives you feel of SUV. In city you get used to it. Its nice with handling and on turns as well. City mode in the car adds the beauty to it. Perfect car for on road and off road as well.

@@flyingkfactor there are ways in which SUV gets driven, apki gaadi truck ho gayi hai too usko vapas car bhi bana sakte hai, car ko thik se na sambhala jaye too 10k main bhi truck ho sakti hai, koi nai bro better luck next time. I am and always be the proud Tata Owner. Apki car truck ban gayi uske liye badhai. 20 lakh ki gadi ab zyada kimati ho gayi.

Excellent Review, the best I have seen here. To the point and covers all areas of the car. TATA was known for its poor build quality and tacky fit and finish earlier, however, this seems to be a thing of the past. I will visit the dealer to asses the car and then decide on the purchase. But a 20L+ TATA is a hard pill to swallow, it has be a really good and more to swing my decision to buy!

Perfect review.....these is called well enginered review on basis of knowledge 🔥🙏 👍 Now these will be my 2nd preferably channel after the Autocar India.

Nobody tells about the paint quality of tata harrier. Is it glossy or metallic? Does the red color get dull after few months of drive if maintained fairly?

I was looking forward to buy THAR, As the price of thar is not convincing, I am considering Tata harrier which can hold 1 more seat and good boot space. I am getting the Harrier 2019 XZ, 18,000km driven Gurgaon passing, very good condition at ₹14.5L, Is this a good price? Will the harrier with terrain response and traction control fulfill my requirement reliably?

@@tusharyadav2835 Thank you for your query. These modes will at best give it some traction on varied terrains, but at the same time, cannot match pure off-road intent. Besides, the older Harrier isn't as compelling a buy as the new Harrier, which is miles apart.

Hi Sriram. The Harrier is a excellent SUV in terms of performance and ride comfort. With the redesigned mirrors, there aren't any major blind-spots as reported in the earlier BS4 cars. We'd recommend it if you have already shortlisted one. Thank you 😊

It’s a very good looking vehicle no doubt about it. But why do they short change the customers with drum brakes at rear in this day and age? Same story with the Altria. Beautiful car but rear drum brakes and no AT variant. How difficult can it be for Tata to bring in a nice 7-8 speed Torque converter AT?

You have a point. The thing is, these drums are so well engineered/calibrated, that we never felt it inadequate in any sort of driving instance. Its that good! Plus, the six-speed torque convertor gearbox is truly well-engineered, and does the job extremely well even with just six cogs. Please do take a test drive and you will be simply astonished.... :)

The bass on this music player is deep enough to make track sound reasonably good. All in all, you will love your favourite numbers on this player after a few tweaks to the bass/treble controls... :)

Hi Raje. If you aren't familiar with large SUVs, the Harrier may feel uncomfortable. But, as a product, it doesn't has any issues in B2B traffic. As for the city ride quality, it feels slightly stiff, but nothing that can make you uncomfortable. Thank you 😊

The Presentation is awesome and this man is so good I mean he's magnifying mostly the good things about it which is nice. But, at the same time one should point out the areas of improvement like addition of TPMS, better appealing instrumentation, sweat pulling hand brake, better quality camera for the reverse, connected car tech and as you mentioned better frame rates for the infotainment and maybe a better display could also work well in its favour. So, there are quite a few if I list out and hoping Tata will make sure all these are compemsated with even better and useful features for the Harrier in future or atleast if they could avoid all these mistakes with upcoming Gravitas, it'll be great. Let us hope for the best from Tata Motors this time.

I am using creta since 4 years & i wish to buy the harrier. How is the harrier steering response i heard it was an hydrolic power steering in creta the steering was very much smooth and easy to handle. What about the harrier?

Thanks for your query. The Harrier's steering is slightly heavier in comparison to the Creta. But this is in no way tiring. It gives you more feel, and importantly, the progressive nature is what makes it stand out. The Harrier's steering is overall better... :)

Can existing Harrier customers get the redesigned ORVM as free of cost replacement? The older design is a safety hazard!

@@sachinmendon big blind spot, hides even small hatchbacks behind it. New one is smaller in terms of height and is placed better too.

It seems highly unlikely that Tata Motors will replace it free of cost. But I can tell you that the new ones make a huge difference in terms of visibility.
