2020 RZR Pro XP Gets An RPM Slip-On Catless Sport Muffler & She Barks [SXS] [UTV]

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

The 2020 Polaris RZR Pro XP gets an RPM Slip-On Catless Sport Muffler, and it sounds awesome. It's a simple install and its very affordable. (Link below) After the install is done, we do some comparisons to the o.e.m. muffler. We give you cold starts, revving, pull from a dead stop and drive by.

    Sounds awesome . Thanks for the video! Ordered one Monday for my pro. Should be in tomorrow. Been waiting a while now because I didn't want one that was obnoxious loud.

    Yeah that’s a sore subject lol. It was our 1 year anniversary of being on KZread so I had a video all done taking a look back at the last year but with it being a long video my computer couldn’t handle it or something. I tried many times to render the video and each time it was all messed up, so unfortunately I had to scrap that project. I’ll have a video this Monday though!!

    Excellent video, thank you! On the spark arrestor, the USFS recognizes a turbocharger as a replacement for a spare arrestor. Do you have a more restrictive code in your neck of the woods? Thanks for the content…ordering!

    Thank you and thanks for watching. To Be honest we haven’t researched it that much. I just remember seeing somewhere we went required spark arrestors and assumed most wooded place required them.

    Sounds awesome, I also noticed the mesh rear window on your machine does that help with the dust blowing back into the cab? My machine with a full glass windshield creates an insane vortex through the back window and blows all kinds of shit directly into my face while driving

  • @SomewhatHaggard

    @SomewhatHaggard

    Thanks! I think it helps, but i lead our pack so I don’t really deal with as much dust. I’ve never ran a windshield without it so I can’t really say what it was like without it. Currently I’m running no windshield and no mesh.

    Hey man I know it's a old video but I'm having a problem with the same rpm sport muffler the packing has came out and muffler housing seems to have detached from the inner portion of the muffler have you experienced anything similar I would appreciate your input

  • @SomewhatHaggard

    We did have some packing blow out. We ultimately removed the spark arrestor and ran it. I talked to Rpm, he if your not having issues with the muffler, you can remove the spark arrestor and it’s good to go.

    Nice!!! Congrats on the unit!!! Unfortunately this area sucks lol we screw around in dude, who has the other pro xp on this channels yard. Other than that we travel for any real riding. So far, the badlands have been are go place. It’s about a 3 and half hour drive and they have all kinds of different riding there. There is place in Illinois called the cliffs that we want to check out this year, I think it’s an hour and a half away.

    @@SomewhatHaggard looked those places up- all solid options. Thanks! My wife wants to copilot, so I need to get a roof, windshield, and probably rear poly panel to keep most of the mud off her. Polaris is out of stock on most items so need to find what aftermarket stuff works together. Going to install some fender flares also, not sure which yet. The Polaris ones look like they would really contain the mud but look like giant elephant ears up front

  • @SomewhatHaggard

    No problem! These machines definitely throw mud in the cab, that’s why my wife named it mcnasty lol. The fender flares definitely make a difference. I wasn’t thrilled with how any of them look so I went with the spike ones, they’re a cheaper option. I figured they’re gonna rub against trees (which I’ve done and they’re holding up). I also didn’t want a big investment in something I may get take off because I don’t like the look. I took them off once and played in the mud, they went back immediately. The cab was full of mud. They definitely work!! Roof was a big help too! I’m still only running the little half windshield and a mesh net in the back. Obviously crap can go over the little window, but it’s good air flow and the net works well. The other thing that helped us with mud was the doors. I’m running the Polaris full aluminum doors and dude has the block off pieces for his factory doors on his 21. Both definitely helped. Something to think about when adding stuff to keep stuff out of the cab, is heat in the summer. These machines definitely get warm in the cab in the summer. Sorry for rambling lol.
