Getting mine delivered this monday! I was sold after a testdrive, what a lovely riding bike! Waaaaay better than I ever expected it to be. I wanted the Royal Enfield Classic, but the Himalayan is just so nice to ride, I just had to have that one. I love the simplicity. I used to own a 2015 KTM 1290 Super Adventure (the big white one) but sold it because it is too big, too high, too complex and too powerfull. It was always a handfull to ride, sure it's a great bike but not an easygoing bike. It was just gathering dust in the garage, I would always take my smaller/lighter bikes out, never the KTM. Simple bike = good bike

Congrats for the video! Do you can relate the technical improvements beyond what is noticed by the report news and youtubers? The new dashboard gets umidity? The turning lamps have rubber joints? The headlamp case still fragile and noisy? Luggage rack still 5kg limit? The side stand is still long or a little bit shorter? The direction bar seems the same (fragile). Thanks in advance for any info!

Thanks for that great review, very clear and informative. I know two couples who each bought a pair of the previous generation Himalayans and love them, and I've been meaning to test ride one for some time though I am still unsure whether the lack of power will be a problem for me. Love the looks though and the improvements on the 2020 sound great.

Great video, thanks. So is this the 650cc Himalayan that we've been waiting for? Or is it 600cc? When will it be approximately released to the other countries? I heard it wont be before 2021 Summer? And there was another prototype which had more changes like a full electronic display, etc. I dont want technology on my bike. So how will the new 600 or 650cc himalayan come out? Is it this one in the video? Or the mat black one 650 that some youtube channels are introducing?

Wow! I love this bike especially in red/black color scheme. What I really like also is the dashboard with classic clocks. No TFT for the Himalayan, pleaaase! The weight could and should be lighter, but I can accept that if necassary. What I don't know yet, is the overall build quality. Will it last as long as my KLX250 which took me 56k KM all over europe from southern France to the North Cape, from the Russian border to Ireland? We will see. I want such a bike. And I want it in Red. Thanks a lot for your enchanting video. Thumbs up and subsribed.

I think you might find the power to weight ratio a bit lacking. Having said that, im used to riding an old XL250, and on the highway, its actually too light and easily effected by wind and trucks. Its a pity they could not squeeze another 10hp from it, but i expect it will run and run in this state of tune. The black/red/silver reminds me of my 1984 XJ900, best colour combo for this bike i think.

I really like the Himalayan bs6 as an all rounder motorcycle - I want a bike which I can use as a daily commute and for weekend rides - it should be comfortable for both the rider and pillion and the Himalayan checks all the boxes except one - its tubeless tyre setup. My question is - can that be a deciding factor to buy a bike? Are tubeless tyres really that big of an issue considering Indian road conditions? If so - what are my other options for my requirements?

Royal Enfield Classic Gunmetal Grey: Muscular look and vintage feel but got feedback that this is not reliable machine. Some and other parts demands continous repairing. 2. Bajaj Dominar 250: A complete package with all modern facilities but Bajaj bikes have bad name of producing noise after couple of years. 3. Yamaha FZ25: Yamaha engine has lowest failure rate. You can trust this machine on long rides. Please share your feedback, so that it can help to take decision.

Himalayan is the perfect choice. My friend was also in the same dilemma. Went for Himalayan. To this day, no regrets. Classics feel under-powered and over-expensive metals at their price point now that JAWA is also in competition. Plus the reliability. Although it does come up with all REs, the versatility of Himalayan is unmatched. as for head turner, the new color scheme will do the job. :-)

They need an entire engine redesign for shedding weight. I mean other engines have half crank but RE still uses full crank. This extra weight makes the suspension bottom out earlier and thus would behave like any other bike taken off-road
