I also have experience with both models. Personally I hated the CVT one for the first few years of having it but I have come to really enjoy it. I actually PREFER CVT cars now, something about it just going and not having to shift gears is nice. Not really worried about the reliability since it is only 78hp, this trans model is rated up to 120hp. I change the fluid and both filters every 20k miles.

Identical to my new 2021 Mirage SE in the color Infrared. But in the USA we have a button for the power door locks on the driver and passenger front doors. Also we have the LED daytime running lights and LED headlights on the top trim Mirage SE along with 2 Red Stripes on the front Grill vs Chrome. We also have an updated audio head unit which I really like and is 7” vs the 6.5” one in the video but the new one no longer has a CD Player which is no biggie to me. My 2017 Mirage G4 SE had the same head unit as in this video and it was used in USA Mirage & Mirage G4 models from 2017-2020. The heated seats also work better than any car I have ever been in or owned and people say it on a few reviews of the Mirage as to how effective they are. Also every new Mirage in the USA now has forward collision warning with auto brake and pedestrian detection with auto brake standard and on the top trim Mirage SE like mine you get lane departure warning and auto high beam assist. So nice they offer this in the Mirage now. My favorite thing is the seats and the red interior kit in mine just like this video. For 2022 they added a passenger visor mirror now as standard on all trims (I ordered the factory 2022 visor and switched mine out so my 2021 has it). Also on the new BE trim and top SE trim you get rain sensing wipers (my 19 Eclipse Cross SEL and 16 Outlander Sport GT had them and I do not care for them and kept them on the manual intermittent setting anyway) and all trims now have welcome and coming home lighting where when you unlock the car at night the headlights light up and when you exit the vehicle they stay on for a certain time or until you lock the vehicle within that time frame.

Excellent point. Not to change the topic but I couldn’t understand the appeal of the BE trim when the SE trim can be had for a bit more. The SE is the top level that can be had for sub $20k today.

Obrigado

  • @UnlimitedAuto

Resumidamente, aconselhamos fortemente a procurar outras alternativas! Espero que tenha conseguido ajudar! Um abraço

I have one myself! It’s actually not that slow, how ever it won’t be so ecologically as it can be if you do hit the gass really hard. Also I’ve noticed that you need to losen the gass pandal totally for a second around 4-5k and then hit the gass again it will switch from like 3 to 4 and be a lot faster, makes less noise that way also. You’ll get the hang of that in a few days or so. Instead of just hitting the gass fully till it will automatically switch from 3 to 4 if u do that it will drive the motor crazy and go up to like 6k toures which isnt good for the motor. But avarage wise 3-4k is normal. Sorry for my bad English btw hope you understand still :)

Though I don't go fast, I never took this car over 75 MPH, or 120 KPH. I cruise at about 57 MPH normally, or 91 KPH. It's perfect for what I need!
