@FBI styling is subjective. A 2000s mercedes doesn't have a screen that can split between radio and navi. And who cares. It's reliable

Have had my RCF for almost 4 years. Loved every minute of driving it. I chose it over the M4 because of the high-revving V8, unique exterior and quality/durability. Never looked back.

M series all the way , it’s just more expensive cause you get what you pay for. I do like the look of the RCF tho.

@@MLGSU5P3CT I picked RCF over the M4 and I could easily have bought an M4. M4s were actually cheaper used i my area than my RCF with carbon fiber/TVD simply because lots is available in the market. I picked mine up with only 5000 miles on it. I wanted a high-revving V8 naturally aspirated with great sound just like the video poster said he would pick the RCF over the M3/M4. My personal choice, that is. I want the car to sound great, which is why I got the RCF and put a full aftermarket exhaust.

@@untitled4841 the type r is a cheap road carver. The lexus is a luxury V8 powerful sports car, you shouldn't even compare them as they are in totally different categories.

Why not? Some people compare cars in totally different categories. I have an ISF and I would definitely consider a Civic Type R, while I would never consider an M3. Go figure.

@@MD-uu5nt They are completely different sizes and engines, he probably was just referring as to how they are different in every way and in different vehicle classes. A decently-speced Type-R is fun, but an RC is more exciting and composed.

We bought our 2015 RCF w 42K on it for about $45K 2 1/2 years ago. We’re still loving it and it has been problem free. Everything just works, every time. Just a wonderful machine.

The RC F is great. I test-drove a 2016 some time ago, and I agree with you completely about the refinement being its strong suit. It handles great, sure, but I was impressed how it combined the sharp handling with a very quiet ride. It's something I could easily drive every day.

The RC F is my favorite car on the market, and it’s definitely my attainable dream car. I really hope to get one soon! Thanks for the video, man!

I love the whole concept of the touch pad for infotainment screen. It keeps you positioned comfortably in your seat without having to lean over to touch the screen.

Reminiscent of the A80 Supra, which I owned before buying my RC F. They are spiritually the same car, although the RC F trades tuneability for out-of-the-box character compared to the Supra.

You hit the nail on the head. It's a really good daily driving car

Absolutely love my 2019! Such a quality and fun car and they make it a little better each year!

Im debating getting a 2019 or a 2021 Mach 1, both have a V8, both should be reliable, the Mustang I can buy new for 65k vs the 65k for a 2019 RCF with about 5k miles. Does ur 2019 have apple CarPlay? The mustang sells me on the 6 speed manual but I can live with the Auto in the RCF

The naturally aspirated V8 sounds epic 😩

My 2016 carbon fiber/TVD RCF was $82K back in 2015 and it has been worth every penny. In Molten Pearl and carbon fiber, it is a looker. With all of the options, it still is cheaper priced than an M3/M4. The visceral high-revving V8 alone is worth the price. A lot of the $40K RCFs are beaten up RCFs with lots of maintenance brakes, tires etc. needed. p.s. RCF is about 1 foot smaller than GSF so not really a bit smaller.

I’d get it in blue, but Lexus did a great job with this facelift. The subtle tweaks make a big difference to me compared with the pre-refresh version of the RC F. Looks so much better! And gotta love that NA V8! Sounds glorious!

Those taillights are nice the rear 1/4 panel curves arent as nice as the previous face but I love the new headlights of this 1

Absolute ideal daily driver. Does its job for a few decades without issue too and won't get boring.

Great review, you absolutely hit spot on. The other reviews on these cars are mostly negative. I have a gsf I can tell you these cars are absolute pleasure to drive and own.

This car is awesome, but some people just hate on it, I know it ain't perfect but it's one hell of a car, people like Doug Demuro have kinda ruined the image of the whole car including the GSF, when they are actually really nice cars to drive

@@victorkenarsy3024 The people buying the competitors are boring, I'm a long time mercedes fan and appreciate the joy of driving an bmw or the high tech of Audi, but I'd rather buy the RCF because it's different. I'm from Switzerland and owning a car with an engine bigger than 3000cc is pretty damn expensive, that's big downside of the RCF but from the reliability point it's a much better choice than the other cars. And my biggest problem with the German competitors, there are too many of them, can't go out without seeing an M or an AMG.

I feel like everyone goes I want the best handling car but this car has plenty of getting up and go and the handling is good enough for everyday driving for the regular consumer who does not go on the track, Also that sound.

This yellow looks good tho.These are top end cars they dont wake up till passed 100mph these 5.0 love to rev out and it's actually one of those rare cars that are actually faster using the paddle shifters in sport plus then just leaving it in drive. Beautiful reliable and powerful cars and if you want more theirs always a company called rr racing that superchargers them to a nice 530whp which is like 600hp crank

This is unrelated to this video, but has he ever criticized/disliked a car? I have watched a few of them and he is always very impressed. I like the videos, but this was something that caught my eye.

LEXUS RC Series literally contained everything I loved about the IS line and corrected the wrongs. The only thing I dislike about the IS Sport Sedan is SIZE... I am a big guy and thats the only issue. But RC is a sport car line that is short chassis which i dont care, but it is WIDE; i love that about coupes and sports cars about that. For the physica you know? And just a BEAUTIFUL BEAST that is bulky yet elegant. Such high performance but RELIABLE lol.... I see this car last 20 years without any problems while the other competitors idk...
