this suv can never be compared with creta seltos or hector..itz a all together a different beast..i feel sad watching at itz sales figure coz in India people are interested in the cosmetics and goodies more than the build quality and the true performance and finish quality levels..itz a true SUV platform.. whereas creta n other cars are build on i20 platform..itz so sad that people dont want safety and a genuine products..

@@chaitspraks1382 harrier is great car. But it has basics and good safety rating. Harrier is 4X2 and more suv like driving dynamics. Compass offers 4x4 only. It has active drive system which run in 4x2 and switching to 4x4 when it looses grip. Compass has adjustable suspension. Soft in slow speeds and stiff in high speeds. It’s like driving a car in high speeds and can go off road with 4x4 system with modes like mud, sand & snow. Compass is more comparable with BMW X1 than harrier in premium safety features like hot stamping and laser welding process, dual climate zone, acoustic windshield, electronic parking brake, 75% high tensile steel frame, FSD frequency selective damping, 18 inch alloys, 9 speed automatic, dynamic torque steering, 4 channel abs and all disc brakes and many more. 55 safety feature.

Endeavour is now with 10 speed automatic transmission

Few much needed features are missing- like Tire pressure monitoring system, parktronic system with fwd park sensors, 360 deg camera and of course connected car features. Come on Jeep please add these features in variant and you rock.

अगर इस गाड़ी से ऑफ़रोडिंग नही करते है तो इस गाड़ी को ले के बहुत मजा नही आएगा खासतौर पर पैसा को देखते हुए। हाईवे और शहरी ट्रैफिक में इस से कम दाम में कार मिल जाएगी । जब तक ऑफ़रोडिंग वाला फैक्टर ज्यादा नही है तो ये खास फायदेमंद सौदा नही है। ये फीचर से भरी गाड़ी नही है मगर जो लोग खुद ड्राइविंग करना पसंद करेंगे ,हर हालत में ,शहरी ट्रैफिक,हाईवे या ऑफ़रोड तब ही सही चॉइस होगा। एक वीडियो बनाओ भाई, जीप compaas, VW Troq, हेक्टर, seltos और हुंडई tusson पर

Jeep only comes with 4x4 and active drive system with snow, mud and sand modes. Tata harrier only offers 4x2.

Harrier has some fit and finish problem(not like last year) and even after many updates electronic updates are still happening Both cars have bad resale value, so you would like them to run for longer, Keep Compass is something which doesn't get old early, Tata Harrier has surfaced many reliability issues....Tata has cheaper spare parts, though Jeep's aren't going to degrade soon. Service center quality is better in Jeep...... Tata Harrier has better seating for middle row(if 3 people want to sit), if 2 people sit, then Compass is better........ Compass has better NVH levels....... Compass has way better build quality

Harrier is great car. It also has good safety rating. But apart from discovery platform Tata is not offering any advanced safety features like in Ranger rover. Harrier is 4x2 and not 4x4. Jeep is 4x4 standard on all diesel automatic. It has advanced active drive system which is running on 4x2 and switches to 4x4 when it needs traction. Jeep has advanced adjustable suspension, acoustic windshield, dual climate zones, dynamic torque steering, 9 speed automatic, drive modes 4x4 with mud, sand and snow modes. Jeep is build with laser welded/ hot stamping like BMW. Compass is more comparable and much cheaper to BMW X1 and Audi Q3. If you have budget go for Jeep. For 20 lakhs harrier is good and affordable car.

GROUND CLEARANCE IS VERY VERY LOW...4*4 IN MANUAL VARIANT IS MISSING

Compass is not worth the money. It doesn't give the extra for wat u pay. Same average after sales service too. They r charging premium just for the brand, which is least understood and accepted by Indians as this is their first product for India. Harrier on the other hand is a complete and a true SUV, which has a better pricing, better features and big brand value (TATA). Its our own desi brand and my goodness they have evolved big time. Tata has some best cars in all the segments ( Tiago, Altroz, Nexon, Harrier, Hexa). Next lined up is the Gravitas. Its about hell of a time that Mahindra should launch the 2020 XUV 500.

Tata Harrier is great car , good value with good safety rating. Hats off to Tata. But very definition of SUV is 4x4. Tata Harrier is only offered in 4x2 and no advanced 4x4 locking system like Ranger rover. Tata Harrier should give more premium features like in Ranger rover. Jeep Compass is on other hand is segment above harrier. Compass is 4x4 with advance active drive system like BMW Xdrive , Audi Quattro AWD. Jeep Compass is also build with laser welded/ hot stamping technology like BMW / Audi. Compass build quality is like BMW and much safer than Harrier . Jeep also offer premium 50+ safety features like BMW. Adjustable Suspension system FSD, advanced dynamic torque steering, acoustic windshield, dual climate zone, 18 inch alloys, electronic hand brake, 4 wheel lock, soft plastics etc. 50+ safety features . If you have budget go for Jeep. Harrier is below segment car with good for regular city and highway but not even close to compass in dynamics and off-roading elections 4x4 technology.

Undoubtedly Jeep if you have budget . Harrier is good car. Jeep is premium 4x4 with advance safety features and build quality like BMW. Harrier is good 4x2 SUV with good safety rating. Segment below compass and affordable. Being an SUV 4x4 is missing in Harrier and no advance premium features like Jeep Compass. Compass is more comparable with BMW X1.

Value for money is Jeep Compass. Jeep offer 4x4 like Ranger rover electronics and driving modes. Also, more premium features. 50 + safety features. Compass is comparable to BMW X1. Even BMW X1 50 lakhs car doesn’t offer 4x4. Harrier is 4x2 with basic features and not electronics like Ranger Rover.

9 speed automatic that used in Mercedes Benz. More fuel efficient and smooth in gear change. Good for city and smooth drives.

Compass is 10 Lakhs cheaper. Compass is great on highway and can do good off roading. Compass is more comparable to BMW X1 than fortuner. Fortuner is a beast but not comparable with compass.

Jeep also has adjustable advanced suspension FSD. Jeep also has dynamic torque steering and very car like dynamic on road.
