Always amazes me how well the HDR boxes are sealed!! I agree with you, I haven't had one of these I didn't like!! And for about $5 a bag for a day's worth of calories, you can't beat it! Awesome review Viper!!

Lentil stew is my favorite HDR menu. I don’t hate any of the HDR menus; there just isn’t enough variety. For their purpose - prevention of starvation in emergency situations - it’s pretty dang good!

I agree. People get disappointed when they forget the purpose of these things. As basically a survival item, I have zero issue with them, but a heater would have been nice, since are tough when cold. But, the sun was meant as the heater. There was a huge availability of cheap cases of these, so most of the people that review rations grabbed atleast one case. TfW!

Thanks Pete, I've had a few of these in storage for a long while but never actually tried one until now. I shouldn't have waited, it was pretty giod.

Yeah, I can't remember who got 5 each of 2 menus... that was rough.

Over all everything looked pretty good. In the right situation, that could be the best meal you ever had. Great review Viper. Take care 🤝

That looked pretty good. Guessing anyone that picked one of those up when in need of humanitarian aid would be totally stoked to have it. Looks pretty hearty, and nice that there is a desert item for the 2 main meals. Really interesting review :)

I was pleasantly surprised for sure. The shortbread cookie was a good addition and also came in the yellow version. I have a few and should have shown them, they are more square than round like the new ones. It could us a drink mix or two, but other than that, no complaints. Ty for watching.

I just bought a case of 2019 HDR’s from Amazon for $45 delivered. A day of food for $4.50, good deal!

Yeah, that is a great buy. I think I paid like 50 for the case. They flooded the market a few months back and I can't say that I know why. TFW!

@@vipergtsmre Right after I bought they went up to $49. I think these HDR’s hit their inspection date and FEMA sold them off.

Didn’t turn out to be too bad at all Matt, I would be very satisfied with that. I can see why they ditched those yellow bags. I have that exact same shirt, my son bought it for me when his visited Fenway last summer. Great stuff! Thanks brother!

I totally get the idea of HDR'S being religion neutral, but couldn't ever figure the peanut butter component when people with nut allergy ..... well, it'll kill them! Great review channel.

I was surprised to find peanut butter actually. Most of the new HDR come with sunflower butter, so I was expecting to get that. Thanks for watching.

Great review, thank you. Short, sharp, and to the point. I like the way you just get on with it and tell us what it's like. Plain food, but very adequate for what it's intended for. I wish I could get hold of a case of those, but that type of ration is almost impossible to find here in UK. 👍

Thanks, I like to keep my vids under 10mins unless i have something really big or really uncommon. I dont really like watching long vids and dont expect other people to either. I'm always up for trading, my email is on my channel description. International shipping is obscene, from 🇺🇸, and often far exceeds the cost of what is being shipped😬

@@jessicaregina1956 lol, I have maybe 10 full 60/70s canned mci that scare me a bit but I may vid one The b units are easy but the mains are questionable. The k rations I have are far too gone to even consider.
