I had a 2017 EXL MODEL. Repeated issues with center display/gps unit failing. It was replaced twice under warranty. Then the gas in oil issue came along. Oil stick constantly showing overfill. At 30000 mile oil change I pulled a sample for lab analysis, result showed 17% gasoline content in the sample! Unacceptable for engine wear and possible fire hazard! Honda was dragging their feet in doing a promised update. Seems they fixed all in Canada first and then a slow phase in for the US market starting with 5 northern states first (Honda claimed it was a cold weather problem, yet owners in Texas were finding the problem. Dealer would only say they were waiting for a Honda recall. I gave up, took a loss and traded the damn thing off for a new Toyota Highlander, which is a trouble free, nice vehicle. I Never will own another Honda!

Nice comprehensive review, would be nice if reviewers actually gave relative cabin noise dB figures rather than simply saying noisy or quiet. Thanks 👍😎🇬🇧

Is it the skydream 1.5L turbo? - - with the oil which mixes with gas. That would be a deal killer for me

I agree this is class competitive, I still have concerns about engine oil/gas dilution issues with the motor in this version. That makes me do a pass, even though it is good enough, and ah yeah and that CVT.

Good review overall. Thanks for that. Next time it would be useful to mention general gas mileage details: winter vs. summer, city vs. highway, etc.

I have the accord sport 1.5T manual. I have 4300 miles on it. At 5000 I will get my first oil change, going to send a oil sample off to be tested to see if their is any oil dilution. The crv's seem to have more of an oil dilution issue in the 1.5t. From what im reading the problem has gotten better but their are still people having this dilution issue, even with the so called software fix.

I would likely end up in the toyota as I prefer driving it. But I would prefer to own it as a hybrid

Is the suspension harsher on those 19" wheels than the 18" you tested on the 2019 Touring?

19 inch wheels ride harder and are noise. 18 inch with a better tire than OEM makes a big difference in noise. Very comfortable car with a great ride and lot's of room in a small package

I just bought a 2021 sport after having my 2017 EX. I had them swap the wheels with my 2017s for this exact reason
