Austin Miller eh. I mean it’s just a preference. Personally although it is fun to drive, ive had way too many bad experiences with BRAND NEW fords including this car. One time my fam was stranded on the roads for hours and had to get another rental car. It was like they didn’t learn shit about reliability since the last time I owned a ford. Idk if that was a dud or somebody fucked up the car already, but that was the last straw for me.

The GMC has a max towing of 4000lbs not 6000lbs, compared to this years Explorer of 5900lbs, that really makes a big Difference if your looking for a everyday Vehicle plus a Trailer puller. I've had a few Fords and really thinking of getting the Explorer Thanks for the review !

gmc acadia for me, explorer looks too much like a police car, that we all see everywhere daily. which doesn't make it stand out

Its a 9 speed trans for Acadia

Loving my 2021 Acadia

How often do you use 3rd row seating? How often do you Tow a Trailer with 2 ton on it? Just purchased a 2020 Acadia Denali. 310 HP. etc. for 2024 Acadia is going back to Big.

To be totally transparent, when getting into the third row seats, the "passenger side" second row seat of the GMC Acadia slides forward more than the driver's side second row ...

The point of the 2nd row captain chairs..its to go thru the middle. No need to fold the seats

Sam the ford explorer is the one for you...the Denali did not fit your personality at all....

One question I have, the st is a full size suz being compared to a mid size which is the Acadia. Wouldn't a better review would have been on the edge?

I would choose GMC because they have a lot of power offroad and lots of space for kids.

Ford explorer all the way. Very sharp and fresh. I been fan since 2013

7:08 your knees are at your chest. You cant say it's comfortable. I am 5'7", and I wouldn't ride in the third row unless my wife was about to give birth, this was the last ride option to the hospital and the other 3 seats were already taken.

2020 GMC Acadia is equipped with a 9-speed automatic transmission, not a 7-speed. The GMC tows up to 4,000 lbs which _is_ pretty competitive for a N/A 3.6L V6 and FWD chassis. The Ford Explorer has nearly double the torque but not exactly double the towing capacity. It’s also on a RWD platform which allows for better traction while towing, better fuel economy while towing, and is less sensitive to weight distribution. Ford went to a RWD platform which means these two vehicles are no longer direct competitors. They’re competing in separate markets now. For towing I’d choose the Ford Explorer ST but I’m choosing the more premium and stylish GMC Acadia Denali for a comfortable, spacious, three row daily driver.

Ford look sport and have the power plus the suspension is setting to be stable in the road you can't compare with the gmc because the arcadia is for grandmas

I had a Yukon xl and it broke down just by a little sound turned out it needed a engine a few years later again it needed a new engine I’m done with gm now I have a Ford Explorer and had it for 5 years and I haven’t had a problem

The GMC has a max toe of about 4000lbs. 6000 lbs is the gvwr not the towing capacity... So it tows about 1000 lbs less than the explorer

In the website for Canada it showed max towing capacity in specs at 6000

I dont mind physical buttons, I prefer them actually, but the Acadia looks like a Nokia compared to a Samsung. Bulky looking. I think the wood trim would discourage younger buyers like me. I would consider it if they had the 2.8 Duramax as am option.

The explorer with the ipad in portrait mode is ugly, the Acadia interior is a disappointment especially if you consider how beautiful the Yukon is

When that GM is out of warranty you'll end up paying for two, I just traded in my 2011 Buick Enclave CXL I ordered in 2010 for the ST, GM TDI Engines suck, engine transverse garbage 🗑
