    It has a nice intake sound on acceleration. For some people and some special vehicles, intake sounds are better than exhaust sounds. Ducati's larger V2 motors are one of them for me. Love that sound on my Multistrada 1200S on acceleration, 4K to 8K, on that range.

    You should try the v2 on a more winding road (like a Mountain Street) to understanding the better performance compared to a v4

    Good morning! Question for you. Possibly a couple. It says you’re 6’2” in the video. I’m 6’1”-6’2” myself. My question is this. How comfortable are you on the bike? I do have a shorter inseam, but, I ask because I had back fusion done in 2018. I currently ride a Harley but I want to get back onto another sportbike. I’m gonna need something more upright than a supersport, and Monsters are probably at the top of my list right now. So, I just wanted to see how comfy you are while riding it. I do plan on test riding come spring if possible. Just trying to get some research out of the way, should I need to change avenues of choices for some reason. Thank you!

    Good for a first review / ride, but please, find roads with a least a few corners. How can you review a bike on roads like that and at a slow speed like that? Looking forward to the coming videaos ;-)

    Hi there! Thanks for the vid. Coming from a monster 821 (changing next year), would you recommend me go for the Street fighter v4s or the Monster 1200? I personally prefer the SFV4S for the look (which is different) and because I believe would be a huge change. What about the feelings and pull on this 1200 compared to he street? For me getting the 1200 sounds more sensible for street riding, but on the other hand getting it is like not improving too much and having the same bike but with more HP. Thanks you!

    Iker Ibarra try the Monster 1200R it’s a huge step up. It’s a great bike. Where do you want to ride the bike? The Monster is slightly more comfortable than the SFV4, below 8000rpm the monster has more power but above that the SFV4 is a scary thing to ride it’s unreal and you will go at way higher speeds, it’s two different bikes both very funny to ride, the SFV4 you feel immediately that it comes from the Panigale from a race bike but easier and comfortable to ride. It’s a premium bike which comes with a price. If you want a sport touring bike go with Monster, if you want a comfortable pure sport bike go with SFV4

    @@Hugo_WP Thanks 4 the reply. Wondering the SFV4S cause it's completely different thing and it is not V twin engine. I am not gonna track or race with it, just love how the bike looks and would like to have one for street riding and weekends. I assume that monster 1200 would be a bet choice for the price... But, dealing between a monster 1200 or a Street fighter (talking about the price)... If I can afford both I will go for the SF. Simply cause I have the monster 821 which is different engine, but similar esthetic. Thank you!

    Gday mate . I set my suspension up to Ducati recommended sport settings with minor tweak and it's pretty damn perfect. I ditched the std tyres as I found they gave no feedback when trail braking. I run Michelin RS . As a road tyre they are pretty good . I run a lot lower tyre pressure than recommended . Adhesion is excellent as evidence by the coarse sandpaper like tread. My riding is on roads with corners for example max lean to vertical to opposite max lean very short straights. The torque just propels you forward, picks you up thru corner bam down short straight, trail brake tip her in accelerate woo hoo. Real tight technical riding , I love it when sports bike riders check their mirror and there's a Monster chewing at their bum woo hoo . Love my Duck

    Hey, wanna ask. I ride 2014 796, planning on changing to new tires. Does the michelin rs is better than pirelli rosso 3? I ride it purely on the street and not too agressive,just casual riding.

  • @kymtaylor5433

    @kymtaylor5433

    You will be fine with the Pirelli tyres. The RS are more sports road tyre for twistie fun. I personally found feedback from the RS when trail braking thru corners exceptually better than the Rosso 3.

  • @kymtaylor5433

    @kymtaylor5433

    Actually I should have added , if you ride mainly city streets with occasional hills ride take the Rosso 3. If you like to carve the corners with little or no chicken strips then get the RS .

    How high the pressure did u put on your tires? And is there any tips on how to maximize the safety/potential of that rs tires like warming up or anything,compare to rosso 3? I do carve some curve but mostly on weekend only.

    Hazeek set your tyre pressures to recommended go for hoot , take press gauge with you . After your higher speed ride measure tyre press , your looking for a 3 to 7 psi incr with tyre temp. Lower your press and try again. I run 1200 Monster 28 front 30rear, 1098 is 28 front 28/30 rear depending on day temp. I get 5psi rise with temp. The edge of my RS tyres look like 80 grit sandpaper. That's adhesion.
