The bow-tie vs the flow through Chevrolet writing on the grill on the lower trim levels makes such a big difference. Hopefully they tweak that for next year for at least the ltz as well

You did a very good job with this review, I was blown away with the features on this High Country. I’ve owned Power stroke and Cummins over the years but never a Duramax, nothing against Chevrolet I’m a fan of all 3 Manufacturers but some how I always signed papers for the Ford or Ram. But after this review I’m sold on this truck! Soon as my current lease is up it’s going to be a difficult decision to either purchase an new 2500 High Country 4x4 or a new Z06 Corvette. Can’t have both 😆

This truck looks so dam good! Lots of people are giving this truck smack because of its looks,which I to this day still don’t understand where they are coming from. There’s no other truck out there that looks so dam aggressive and cool! I think Chevrolet did a great job at this truck. Ford and Ram are sticking to their generic style which is all right but I think after a while it starts to get boring to look at. So I give probs to Chevrolet for trying some new styling and taking a risk with it and I think they nailed it! While ford and ram don’t have the guts to change it up they are keeping their styling safe.

WY O _ you know it’s really strange. I watched all the KZread videos I could find. Ordered my truck, only to realize when making some additions to my truck that I could not open my tailgate with the battery disconnected. I had items I needed from the truck bed and I had no access. Therefore, I thought maybe I was missing something! Now I know that the something I was missing is a CROWBAR! Hahaha.....

Oddly, adaptive cruise control and lane-keep assist are still missing from the list of offerings on the 2020 High Country 2500hd. The official word out of Chevy is that adaptive cruise is coming, but is likely to rollout on the 2020 Silverado 1500 first.

Maybe with the HDs it's a safety issue with the ability to haul heavy loads.

I am fairly certain that the body of this truck is 100% steel; I do not think the tailgate is aluminum like you mentioned...

I don't like where that plug in is located I have a feeling its going to be ripped off if that air dam gets snagged on something and I hate hate hate those damn mirrors I would like it better if it wasn't on the door and back where the mirrors use to be to me it throws off the look of the truck with those dumbo ear looking mirrors

I use my 2020 GMC AT4 2500 to haul my 40ft Gooneseneck with a Minihoe and skid steer does amazing also use it alot to pull my gooseneck Dump trailer hauling rocl does great also. My 08 Duramax did the same job for many years and now my friend owns it with 300k on the OD

All that moeny and no cigarette lighter,no way .

The interior of my 2017 looked dated when I bought it, the pretend stitched pretend leather on the dash being the biggest change from the 2010 I had before it. Gone is the fabled "Chevy ride", the God awful Rancho shocks are so stiff almost put my head through the sunroof the day I picked it up from the dealer. I'm a GM guy, and I'm NOT happy with their current offerings. A loaded 2020 Denali diesel is $100K+ where I live. I purchased my 2010 with the same options for $57K. There's nothing on the new model that is convincing me to drop an extra 40 Grand. The new Ram is the first I've ever looked at and thought "I'd drive this." That said, Dodges are still Dodges. And every Dodge guy I know that kept his truck longer than 5 years learned why that's not a good idea before year 6
