Nice review. I have this exact truck and use it to tow an rv and as a daily driver. Everything just works very well. The engine and trans are syncd very well and the driving and handling characteristics are tuned about right. It would be fun to do some of the Banks upgrades, but it’s definitely not necessary. Mpg is slightly disappointing at an avg of 17.5 combined. We’ve had 2 adults rude the rear seats over 600 miles on a long one day trip with positive comments on comfort. I’ve no doubt that there are elements of Ram and Ford that are technically better but as an overall package, so far i’ve no regrets.

Awesome vid, hope to see more car reviews! maybe some old school/exotic cars too. One thing I noticed from the video audio was that there was a bit of static on your mic that is attached to your seat belt, and there was this surround-sound effect during your exterior portion review, and you pitch changed as you moved around your car.

I hated the front end at first. Looks like it’s wearing braces. However, It definitely grew on me. Looks kind of mean.

18,500 in that configuration for tradition hitch or goose.

Chevy is trying to blind tech, style, and traditional truck design to keep there long term costumers like my father or myself to keep coming back to get new trucks. My 2021 high country 2500hd is almost perfect to my taste in appearance. But I understand updating the style but they keep the feel of I’m in a Chevy truck I know and trust And that is what makes brand loyalty Chevy and Ford have done this very well. Even when they released new gen trucks they brought you along slowly there there current gen with upgrades and minor changes that when you step out of a prev gen truck and step in the new gen you still feel at home. I can imagine what the ram guys felt who use the trucks to work when there dash looked like a Tesla 😂. Younger generation of people will love this. But ask yourself why hasn’t Chevy or Ford done it. They know the HD truck market and they know young customers most Lilly can’t afford or even want HD trucks. That’s why they keep it in mind of let’s make it look stylish but keep a traditional feel. While I’m sure they will slowly increase screen size. I don’t think Ford or Chevy will go to that massive display. Heck in grand design solitude did not want digital controls give me trusted easy and cheap to replace switch’s Just saying

The ergonomics of dodge and ford interiors are godawful so putting in a big screen and making you hunt and peck for things on the electronics is NOT a good thing. The seats in dodge ford trucks are terrible the cabins are cramped the ride is terrible road handling on them is not good especially once you get up to modern highway speeds. After test driving all three at the 75k to 80k price points I chose chevy because it was just a better truck in every way.

It is a Chevy.......

I 've been a chevy man all my life , when i saw this hideous creature i was very disappointed ! Looks like the Chevy guys went to Dodge guys and said hey listen we been trying to design a butt ugly truck and just can't do it ! The Dodge guys said hold my beer !
