Nice pack! Looks like a lot of work for sure. My packs I built for mine are 2 6s1p packs of lg nmc batteries at 50ah a piece. It was much easier to do it this way, and energy density is slightly better than 18650. My two packs together weigh about 9kg

I use the sony murata in my ebikes, they are very good, the problem is the price doble in a few months...

WOW that's what's called a Big batterie ! :) Very nice welding job ! I was asking my self, why not just spot welding the copper strip in place ? The electrical contact is better with tin ?

You used the spot welder like the tool to melt the solder. I saw your spot welder handle wire is too long, it will be a problem that makes the solder spots is weak, not heavy stick the nickel strip to the battery surface. 12s14p is a good config, Sony 3000mAh 10c cell, max 14p*30A = 420A peak , usually max discharge 5c is safe for the battery, enough power for 10kW motor but play time will not be long when full throtle. I watched your videos from 2 years ago, now I'm looking for some diy efoil tuts so now meet you again. Have fun !

Is not a nickel strip, friend, check description, (Copper with a Sn / Pb coating) and you can see perfectly in my video how the strip is solded and is imposible disjoin, recomend it . I will share data about my batteries dont worry, and thanks for following me ! enjoy!

What voltage is this battery pack. Also what is the power output. 18650 batterys are usually 3,6v and max 10 ampere discharge right? What is the theoretical ampere hour of this pack?

La batería es 12s como indico en el vídeo. Por lo tanto es multiplicar el voltaje de cada celda por 12. Los datos de la batería también los tienes en el enlace a Nkon por lo que podrás saber cuantos Ah etc tiene
