@@denisnuredinix2447 Are you calling me "Stupid Abo" ???? FYI I'm not Aboriginal, I am a Torress Strait Islander, I come from the islands so before you judge a book by its cover check yourself and educate yourself!! I'M A PROUD TORRES STRAIT ISLANDER whats your blood line and culture?????
Great advice me made it up early 2000s in my 1995 nissan terrano 2.7td she was light and lucky to make it through the deeper long crossings yet what a trip.....
Went to the OTT solo made friends at the first crossing and helped each other out the whole way. Fruit bat and Elliot falls were the best swimming holes I've ever seen anywhere.
I really like anything graham and shauno are apart of!! Top blokes enjoy every minute Love to meet u both in the future Keep at it boys
What are these "holidays" you speak of? 🤔 are they available on Amazon?
Great to see old Shorty again, I can't wait till Shorty meets the Dirty 30 but other then that great tips
Guys, you really make it easy to know what you need. I can imagine lots of families finding a way to go, just because you showed them the fun too.
Parachuted into Coen on an Army exercise back in the late '80's. Camped in the dry river bank and had some beer from the Exchange Hotel. I'll never forget it!
Great vid. Been to the top 3 times. Last time was 20 years ago. I hear they put a bridge across the Wenlock. Nolan’s was always a pain in the ass. Some good tips on preparing your truck. Lift out alternators with all the water crossings. Get a Bra for your truck and because of the corrugated roads get a sports Bra for the Misses.
@BradleyPaton

solid advice, but sports bra not necessary. That only increases carrying weight and reduces fuel economy. I told the missus to leave at home.👍

What do you meany by lift out alternators?
@petercharles2575

Sydney Hustler Hi Syd. Alternators will play up and stop charging if they get submerged. People who own late model Land Cruises will take a spare or the rich will buy a water cooled sealed alternator. No battery power nothing will work.
Following you from South Africa. This is the best 4x4 show available anywhere.

Gentlemen, Thanks for sharing all your videos.
It already is in my bucket lost, go to Oz, meet Graham, Shauno and Ronny Dahl, and do Cape York driving a landcruiser.
My favourite spot up there is Cape Melville. Especially if I'm taking a boat.
I Love ur videos, cant stop waching them 👌👌
On the bucket list for next year cant wait!
You guys are the best at 4w4
Graham seems to love the tip.
Best time of the week....
I want to move to Australia when I get my journey man mechanics and some good money saved up I’ll really consider it
Aye, I'm early for 4wd action for a change.
I live just North of Cairns up in the rain forest and when it comes to choosing when, November is seriously underrated. The wet starts later than they advertise in the brochures. When I have family up, I get them up here in November. Blue skies, sunshine, usually pretty decent visibility on the reef, hardly any crowds, off season rates and if it is going to rain, you're going to get a pretty dramatic thunderstorm along with it. The really heavy flooding monsoonal rains don't set in until late December or January, but the first decent rains and thunderstorms will start to come in November. If you can make those tracks early after the wet you'll do them easy at the tail end of the dry. Bring your widest wide angle lens, the sky can be amazing when a storm is coming. If you can camp comfortably in the rain, it's an incredible time to see the tropics.

I think I'll do this next year, no way id want to go with the massive crowds
Thanks Team..great advice all round !!
Great vid bud, need to do one of these for Fraser.. would love to know about the the lakes and great camping spots

Fraser is way overrated and way over visited. 3 different ferries dropping thousands an hour onto the island. try Moreton Island, it is the choice island up here. only 2 ferries trips a day. plus those who do drive Morton know how to drive in sand. just watch any Inskip point youtube. idiots stuck for hours with 6.1 liter jeeps rotary hoeing the sand. once their clear you can see old 4x4's putting past towing caravans. how can an old lux tow a van but a 6.1 litre jeep is stuck. comes down to the idiot behind the wheel. i'd stay away from those idiots before you get dragged into their recovery.
exelent first class stunning keep them coming
Yes I will go this year
Like before watching...as usual!
First gun shot is gnarly
Jeez, was looking at videos of our second trip to the cape in 2010. Still thinking how we made it to the tip and back towing a camper with motorbike of the roof with a tinny and our family of 5. Evven made gunshot and Nolan brooks without getting bogged. Old gq patrol 35s 5” tb42 it was a beast
Great video mate. Really enjoyed the tip and aM looking nervously forward to heading up next year.
Hi Graham. Mate you're from the west... How come you legends never head that way? Man I would just love to see a big trip over there. 2 hour episode. Bring it on mate!! 🙌🏻

What a treat another video
Love watch u guy l live in tasmania love the trips u do down here
Hey guys we are definitely going to the cape again this year selling the big van and getting a camper so we can have a real good look at the different track's and beaches around the cape hope to see you up there going in July.
We are heading up this year, thanks for the hot tips, especially where to set up camp on the OTT, fuel availability and food sources. I'm a bit worried about Nolan's cos it's just me and the misso by ourselves. I've put in my notes the info you gave on how to cross it. Cheers
I am planning a family trip to Cape York in 2021. Going to skip the OTT for our first trip as it's way above my skill level at present. I have a 2014 Prado GXL.
Hey legends we are heading up there for the first time for all of July this vid was good thanks guys What about crocs is there an induction where to really look out for them. hope to see u boys there you guys are my 2 boys idles

Rule of thumb, always suspect creeks have crocs when in FNQ. Particularly in the low areas. Crocs can travel large distances overland to find water. Just because they called salt water crocs, doesn't mean they don't live in fresh water. They do. Only real safe bet is anything above large waterfalls if you're up in the range. Which you won't be on the cape. I'm only speaking from living in Townsville and Cairns. Which leads me to my last point. Talk to the locals before you leave. They know the area better than anyone. Same with Rangers.
i enjoy watching your videos. I was wondering when you show a plastic fan from a vehicle or tires in other shows, do you clean up some the area when you are out wheeling? I look forward to all videos that Graham and Shauno are in! Thank you.
so how do i get my truck from the UK to Cape york ;) would love to come over and go for it. would need to buy a truck over there ready for the trip or borrow one if you know anyone graham! ;)
Great stuff as usual. I'm wondering is that gunshot pit man made?
