2020 Production will probably resume in June. May even resume earlier than that. That’s very conservative. The 2021 production should start in September. Most 2020 orders will be pushed to 2021 orders. There will also be many people canceling orders due to job losses, pay cuts, canceled bonuses and no pay raises. As a matter of fact many car dealerships will have to lay off employees. Don’t forget the losses in the stock market. The economy will recover, but not this year.

That's a lot of car for the money! When I first saw vids on this car I thought it would easily fetch a hundred grand at least! You're lucky you have one young man! Congrats and stay safe an no friends in the passenger seat until this virus is under control !

Good job brother! Yeah..not expecting the Z06 untill 2022 as well. ZR1 or Zora or whatever they call it will be the last few years before the C9 kinda like the C6 generation did.

Nobody knows any timelines not even GM. I think that it's best that nobody speculates as to when things might take place. We just need to be patient and wait and see what happens. I'm not trying to place blame on anybody, for it is just human natural to try and figure things out. I have a RB HTC at status 3000 on order and want it now. But there are more things more important right now.

My opinion is that the grand sport will be hybrid, the Z06 won't but the zr1 will. What's your thoughts?

Probably the front end motor hybrid will be ZR1, not the Z06.

Good info. Man people have to take 5, relax and breathe. C8's will eventually be back in production. Why the hell would anyone pay $20 $30 or $40 more than what the C8 actually sells for. Let's say you pay an extra $20 so basically after a couple months of depreciation you are already $40 in the hole. I'd rather put the extra money towards the future Z06 or Grandsport or just pay the damn car off sooner if you are financing it.

Man its funny how my dealer hasn't said anything to me about my order, just left me in the dark. Thanks for giving me an update man. Just called them and they're like "you are getting pushed". If it wasn't for you they wouldn't have even told me because I would have never called
