I live in Las Vegas, and my dad owns an electric company. Right next to his “shop,” there is a company called American adventure tours. They have all of the side by sides you could ask for, and the owner (Rick) asked my dad if he could take me out in a rzr made for racing. My dad and his employee, drew, would come along too. They were in single seat race rzr’s. Along the way, we cut into the mint 400 trail. Out there, Rick decided to push the limits of what was possible in the machine. He had 40 years of racing under his belt, so I trusted him. He pushed the upper limits of 120. That was absolutely insane to experience! After that, we cut off into a dry lake bed. That’s when my dad, which is pretty damn experienced with off-roading fucked up trying to do donuts, and put the car on 2 wheels. He went up to what I would say 50 degrees, and we were right behind him! But he did recover, and it’s something that everyone is gonna remember that day!

Went in 2012..got hooked and have went to every mint 400 and henderson 250 since....its an awesome experience..

I NEED to go. I went to the Rolex 24 22yrs ago and havent missed o ne so I definitely get it.

I retired from BF Goodrich after 36 years. I once had the honor of building some of the team Baja tires. Those things are beasts. Even without a rim those things are heavy!!

The Mint 400 race week in Vegas is amazing.

This was the last thing I did before quarantine❤️

In some circles the Mint 400 is a far far better thing than the Kentucky Derby, the Superbowl, and the lower Oakland roller derby all rolled into one.

Depends on the class of truck racing there all diff classes some race pavement only some everything some super hot fast badass and some toned down a little

Depends on the organization. If you are racing Best in the Desert Races (Mint 400, Vegas to Reno, Etc.) the unlimited trucks are called Trick Trucks. You will also have trucks that are called Spec Trick Trucks or commonly referred to as 6100 trucks. Spec trucks have most of the same items as a trick truck but are limited to a spec LS3 crate motor. If you are racing in Score races (Baja 500, Baja 1000, Etc.) then unlimited trucks are referred to as Trophy Trucks. Spec trucks are called Spec Trophy trucks and so on.

Anthony Olsen Side wall had hairline split around the rim 6 months after purchase. Reported to BFG, got the all clear. 22 months later, same tyre blows on highway. Tyre pressure monitors and visual inspection before leaving last fuel stop. What’s stupid is BFG trying to blame customers but again suckers are born quite often..
