Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
ADV Pulse gets a first test on the all-new Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC and XE in Portugal. For our full review go to: www.advpulse.com/adv-bikes/201...
After more than three years of development, Triumph has delivered on a completely new Scrambler 1200 loaded with power, cutting-edge technology and real off-road suspension. An athletic, versatile, muscular machine with the promise of equal parts show and go. How does it perform both on and off-road? Does it match up with other dirt-capable ADVs? We answer this and more!

Best review I've seen so far, wanted to see its capabilities of road and wasent disappointed . How Jeff Smith threw the old BSA about in the 60s with limited suspension is a testament to his exceptional riding skills. He would have flew on the Triumph scrambler .
Quality review & whomever that was in the footages blurting that xe like that deserves a 🥇 nice to see it being optimised that way - off road.

They need to do a 700 or 900 XE. 1200 is too big/heavy to really throw it around offroad
These things look sweet. I like seeing something different in the ADV space. 👍🏾
on the thumbnail. the front fender is in up side. but in the video its located on down side
Of all of the different motorcycles I’ve ever owned and/or ridden...my XE is the most badass of them all! Perhaps the novelty is really really fresh, but I don’t see getting bored anytime soon!

Michael Accorsi ok...??? Annnnnnd...??? Then I’ll drive my 2018 Subaru Crosstrek around then hop in my built 2013 Subaru BRZ project annnnnnd compare the two? The KTM500 is a dirt bike? No relevance to the ScramblerXE

Hello ! congratulations on the bike ! it's such a beauty ! i "drool" looking at it, amazing how they released such a bike as serial bike ! may i ask if you have ridden it on some gnarlier and more rocky tighter single trails than what shows in this video ??? i really like to know how and if it can manage tight trails - not expecting it to be a 300 2T enduro,of course, but where are its limits ?
I really like this review

Thank you, really appreciate the feedback!
This bike reminds me of my youth! A honest tall and rugged duo sport bike! Both off road and a touring rig on one bike? Damn right skippy! The perfect size for me!
That was a great review mate:) Does the lower spec bike have a custom mode? AND can you set that mode up with abs and traction off?
@ADVPulseVideos
5 жыл бұрын
Thanks Campbell. Yes the XC has a configurable rider mode that lets you adjust throttle map and turn TC off, but you can't turn ABS completely off. You need the XE with Off Road Pro mode to turn both TC and ABS off completely. Off Road mode on the XC turns off the rear ABS though.

@@ADVPulseVideos MMMMmmmmmmm food for thought - I won't be in the market until they start popping up second hand, so might be fixes around by then. Also sat on both today and easy to touch the floor on both. The XE really isn't super tall - neat trick with all that travel. The XC is like a normal bike to sit on, but should still be awesome off rd. Think it has similar travel to my old ktm950 and more than my V-Strom1000, both of which i rode off road - V-Strom being a little more intimidating to get in the really hairy stuff but still capable. Spoilt for choice :)
I love the design of this bike but I think triumph should have put more thought in the placement of the exhaust....it you go with aftermarket exhaust that replaces your heat shield I would definitely double wrap it with exhaust wrap...but just think it would have been more convenient and comfortable with a traditional style exhaust
Love the look of the new bike but.......At 5'8", with a 32" inseam and 180 lbs, I'm on my toes while sitting. Yea I could side cheek it and have one foot flat but that won't cut it on technical terrain. If your rolling in dirt or on the street that's fine. But if I have to flat foot the bike in a tricky off camber situation its going down. Hard to hold up a leaning 500lb tall bike. Been there done that already. If I can get the XE lowered 1 - 1.5 inches then it may work for me. The XC is lower but it doesn't have all the desirable features of the XE.
I'll definitely get this bike - just not brand new. I'll wait until someone realizes that they bought a bike that they will never actually take off-road, and trades it in for a Speed Twin or Thruxton.
beautiful and a very good bike. still so expensive that i just can't own it. the xe

sallhame There’s no denying that these are far from the best ADV bikes on the market. If you love retro’s and scramblers, however, it provides a compelling offering, because it’s almost as good, while looking so much better (subjectively). We see the same with new cafe racers, like the Thruxton R. They aren’t any better than a modern naked, but they’re almost or equally as good, while maintaining the styling sensibilities of a classic. If you want the best, buy the latest and greatest, but if you love the classics yet don’t want to compromise on performance, these make great alternatives.

get a 2022 Triumph Scrambler 1200XC
I had to watch twice ... hard to differentiate when saying xe or xc
I hate it, too much fun, power and all-round ability in one bike
Bought one and sold it already, suspensions are pretty bad. I prefered my 2015 scrambler even if on paper the XE is superior in every way...I got tired of it very fast.

Hopefully by the time I'm ready to make another purchase, Triumph will have gone to shaft drive on these.
I don't like the dirt scenes being on different tires than the ones that come on the bike. Demo the bike as I'll get it from the dealer, please.
