@Ken Able So the competition MUST be at a podium where they are completely motionless. According to who? The art of communicating with a large group of human beings would include all those things. I think it's much more likely that you just aren't good at some or all of those things, and it upsets you.

At first I was like anybody could give a talk like that, what makes him so special? But as soon as the story ended and he explained the reason behind telling that story, i almost cried!

I loved this speech. Gripping story, gradually built towards the climax, and then an earnest, timely message. All delivered in his own natural style. Hit every note correctly! Well deserved 👏🏼
I watched this speech 5 times , taking notes. From vocal tonality to story telling and body language. This speech is so rich of passion and techniques. I will incorporate them in my speeches as your fellow Toastmaster Aaron. Thank you for your hard work and persistence. I first saw you in 2016 and you inspired me then and now you rocked my public speaking world 🙏🙏🙏😃😃👍

Congrats to new champion of public speaking. Very good timely message given by his speech.
Aaron is so much more than a mechanically sound speaker with contagious stage presence and honed delivery skills; more than a talker - he's a teacher; more than keynoter - he's an ambassador of acceptance and love; who transformed the common topic of 'cultural diversity' into 'cultural Commonality.' So cool that he didn't let himself get in the way of his life changing message that epitomizes the unwritten 'mission' of Toastmasters International: 'Seek To Bless, Not Impress.' Whoa! Congrats!!

To be frank, this speech is very inspiring and encouraging. it doesn't begin or proceed with boring statement or any argument to make a point; instead, it starts with funny story, dynamic and dramatic behavior to make it vivider, and strikes the audiences' heart when it's to the end with a sensible and reasonable argument. Nice to enjoy the champion show!
Wow, that was brilliant; it held my attention throughout. Sharp opening, laugh-out-loud moments and a meaningful ending; well done Aaron.
This is undoubtedly one of the finest speeches I have ever listened to. The articulation, modulation and the gestures were on point and how the guy tells the story is so artistic.
Congratulations Aaron! I am particularly proud of your perseverance in aiming for the championship. Your semi-final and final speeches demonstrate your storytelling mastery. Thank you for the motivation to stay the course. Best wishes on your next steps.
I love this presentation. He stayed focused. He took the mission very seriously. He held the shoes to his heart. In the end, he brought three cultures together. Great Job Aaron Beverly!

Goodness! I liked it very much. No wonder he is the winner.
Mind blowing Aaron. That was wonderful speech with all the right emotions. Yes, we Indians do accept everyone as part of our family. Nice message and mission given to the people as well.
Exceptional and just the type of message we need right now. So often the winning speeches are about overcoming some major obstacle or having something exceptionally bad happening to you. It is refreshing to hear a speech with a great message but with a playful and fun premise. Great job.

As organised by an organisation with clubs spread in towns and cities all over the world called 'toastmasters'. The purpose of the clubs worldwide are to assist individuals to develop, work at and grow in their public speaking and leadership skills. Competitions get organised by the organisation such as the above and smaller regional or national focused competitions. I'm a member of 'godiva speakers' in Coventry United Kingdom...I need to deliver my first icebreaker speech soon 👋
