It's so beautiful to see someone doing something they absolutely love. She's in her happy place. 🤘🥁

She’s so good and so damn charming, her smile is infectious, the joy in her face is so wonderful.

She is special. She did not do too much. In her own words, she allowed the music to breath and have a place as it should. Drummers can over power any instrument and she understands this. That requires a skill that is hard for most drummers to comprehend which is called discipline. She changed her own arrangement with that in mind. She is beyond average. She is the new wave. It's like going on a journey when she plays.

From the time I was a child until I was much older, my dream was always to be a drummer. I took band in the 6th grade and wanted to play the drums, but was forced to play the flute, because I was told girls don't play drums, boys do. This was in the early 70's. I had a natural talent for drumming. No one ever believed in me. I'm about to turn 56 and my sweet wife got me a drum set for my b-day. I couldn't believe it. It's to late for me to join a band, like I always dreamed of, but the joy I am having of finally having my own drum set, and learning new things, is something I never thought would happen. It makes me happy to see talented ladies such as Ms. Gordon, playing the drums and flourishing.

I am a woman and I started playing drums at 51. I am still learning. Currently, I play crash cymbals and auxiliary percussion in three street bands (from 7 - 34 people!) I'm as old as some of my bandmates' parents. And though I'm much older and they have much more musical experience and talent, we find common ground in music. The most important thing is to do it, and to play with recorded music and with other musicians as often as you can. The other thing is to find a role. I knew I wouldn't be ready to play a kit or snare drum for a few years, so while I practice, I am still a percussionist, and over 5 years have become a good, solid cymbal player. I can be a musician while I'm still learning. Much love and encouragement to you!

Confidence! Gifted, smart, with great musical sense, joyful playing, impeccable grooves/ pockets and solid inner time. She's a truly special gem.

On the second tune she did this triplet snare build fill, and her crescendo was.. unbelievably controlled. A true talent.

I GREW UP PLAYING THE DRUMS AND I STOP . THE Pocket Queen has motivated ME TO START BACK PLAYING.

Very much a true musician keep going when stuff goes not according to plan. Love it your amazing

Iam 66 yrs. old. Return to Forever is the greatest concert I ever witnessed in person. Still get hyped talking about it nearly 4o years after. The audience refused to leave until they played an encore! It was phenominal!!

She is so talented and she is definitely The POCKET QUEEN!!

I am a bassist from Vancouver Canada and I've played with some nice drummers. However Miss Gordon plays much like n incredible drummer named Gary Grace from Vancity. Amazing time/feel pocket,chops. Incredible reaction time and lands the fill tight as it should be. There's nothing like working with a master musical drummer / percussionist.
