My grandparents have the 2017 3.6r one and I love it! Love the way it drives steers everything about it I like. There is alot of leg room in it also.❤

I love my Outback 3.6r Touring 2018. I've had it for a year now and no regrets. I chose it over a BMW X3, due to the higher ground clearance, superior AWD system, you can lay the back seats down and fit a twin size air bed in the back, and the overall utility the car provides.

Love our 3.6, lots of pep and quality is A1

I had a 3.6R Subaru Legacy for 3 years. It was a great car. No rattles, enough engine though the 257 horses would be better closer to 300. CVT was actually okay... and the car took regular gas.

I got a 2018 Subaru Outback Premium trim that came with all the eyesight safety features, 8 inch starlink screen with built in factory navigation, sunroof with powered auto rear gate, upgraded LED interior lights with auto dimming frameless interior mirror with integrated compass and home link buttons, powered heated and auto dimming outside mirrors with integrated LED turn signals and Subaru LED puddle lights and a few more things that I'm forgetting about...so I guess you could option up the Premium trim with all those options you find in higher trims, except the leather seats and the push button start....

BTW, unless plans have changed 2019 will be the Last year of availability for the 3.6 Touring Outback. After 2019 its all 4 cylinder 4 this Subie.

Love the outbacks ,What trim level to get the heated sets in front ? or are they standard ? I missed it i guess ?? Great videos , keep them coming !!

I purchased a new Outback in 2017. It had RAB and many other electrical problems from the start. I had it in the shop 10 times for repair. Went a total of 42 days without my car. It was a Lemon. Had to have it towed into the dealer no less than four times. Even the district service manager told me to contact Subaru Customer service to get a full refund, as they could not figure out what is wrong with the car. After months of being given the run around, Subaru customer service did not refund my money as they should have. I traded my car in, still under warranty, still not fixed. I lost over $14,000 because Subaru does not stand behind their cars. Toyota is looking better all the time.

Captain Brown Beard It’s all about how you drive it Subaru’s need momentum when off road and you don’t let the CVT decide for you need to have the revs and the X mode and traction off unless it’s snowing. Holds and such and use the paddle shifts or manual modes. You can start off and floor them or your not going anywhere. Just like Corning there’s hardly need for Breaking around corner the AWD modulates and can get you round a bend with ease.

MIQUEL AVERY - Don't sell the 2.5i short. It may not be a power house, like the 3.6. But It will come off the line smartly with the 4.11 gears. My 2018 gets 34 MPG @ 70+ MPH. I can fill up inside the East Ohio border, avoiding the high gas tax of Pennsylvania, New York, and Connecticut and still have 100 miles until empty in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts.

Thats why Id just buy the Jeep Cherokee if I wanted an AWD Crossover. My buddy had the 2.5 and traded it in for the H6, but the CVT still kills power. Should have to drive it a special way and I know about special ways cause I drive a super unreliable but way more fun than any subaru BMW

These make great family haulers! The 2.5L could use some updating, but as long as you keep up on the maintenance they aren't too bad. Subaru's AWD never fails! Great video Drew!

I have a 2019 outback which I love but today I got locked out of my car. First time ever.. Am I missing a safety feature? My 2011 Nissan Sentra has a safety feature and the doors will not lock and will chime to let you know that the keys are inside. Why is there nothing like that on this 2019 car. Can you please tell me why this happened and what I can do to prevent this from ever happening again?

Timing chains. Subaru changed to timing chain in 2011 if I'm not mistaken.

I am feeling jealous because this is my vision in next five years🙄

Starting 2019, all trims do have eyesight. You were probably looking at an older model.

Help please! I just drove a 2019 Outback 2.5i Premium, but found that the rear view mirror is so low that it blocks my field of vision. At the dealership (live in California) I was told that I just need to get used to it! It's the car of my choice as long as I can resolve the rear view mirror problem. What can be done? Thanks.

I have a 2011 Outback and, since I'm six feet tall, I have the same problem. Over the years, I've just gotten used to it and unconsciously just duck my head to see under it.

Love the 3.6 but not happy they have reduced the color choices for the Touring trim. Wanted the heated steering wheel and the dark blue exterior. But that combo is not available for 2019.

I agree. I just picked up a 2019 blue limited 3.6. I wanted the java brown leather, but wanted the blue exterior more. I found one with the gray leather, I like it better than the ivory.

Are you sure that isn't a 2018? I just bought the limited 3 weeks ago and it is exactly the same unless they made no changes .

the wheels are very slightly different, the panels have been slightly updated (subtle) also it now has DAB (in Europe in any case)

There is no difference between the 2018 and the 2019 Outback. All of the features that I see here are the exact same as my 2018 Outback. I thought that the 2019 would, at least, have direct injection, like Toyota does.

My sister's a lawyer and owns two. You'd be surprised. I'm an engineer and just got a 2019 outback. Not everyone is about flash.

Had a 2.5i on rental in the USA........woefully slow. Use the kickdown, lots of noise but not much else. I have a skoda Kodiaq here in the UK, similar to VW Atlas/Tiguan........a much better vehicle in my opinion.

I have a 2019 outback limited and the antifreeze reservoir goes emty every 2000 miles and service say is ok so i told them i don’t have to fill it? They say i have too,they don’t have mechanics at the dealer service only service people and no loaner cars because too many recalls this car is a complete hazard to any family the windows don’t wipe the rain when you roll the windows down this is a extreme hazard when raining very hard i have to open the door so i can see my car only have 10,000 miles i will loose money but we are going to get rid of it. At the dealer service you have to prove them there is something wrong with the car

Interior looks kinda Bland compared to the new Forester and Crosstrek.

Please don't waste your money and time on any subaru,they don't have loaners cars because they have so many recalls,starlink is a joke,windshields get damage very fast my came with some stains that never come out,my dashboard rattles terrible even on flat road,my antifreeze goes on low every 2 months and they say is normal

Dealership don't have good mechanics this cars are the worse nightmare do research and read all the reviews before you get one or you'll regreat it,and the worse part is that this car will stop on you with no warning

And please for your safety don't trust isight

I liked Subaru better when they weren’t so popular because new Subaru’s are just plain boring. They are bland, no fun to drive, and they can’t even offroad as well as they used to. The old ones had panoramic sun roofs and the new ones don’t even offer it.

Starlink is the worse

Paddle shifters with a CVT?!? stupid.

They replace the differential and the radio unit 3 times on my 2019 outback limited it only have 12,000 miles very bad engeniring the garage door opener works with the car off and the window don't wipe the rain if i have the choice again i will never buy this car it comes with a lemon law protection but don't fall for it is a very long and stressfull process
