At around 2:26, I noticed that the leg of the seat is covered by a plastic. Our EL doesn't have that. The rear legs are covered but the front legs are bare metals.

Let's talk about the engine technology naman. Halos lahat ng review puro features and aesthetics at kung ano lang yung nasa brochure inuulit lang. Sa mga nagcocoment na gusto ng kumpletong features, wag pickup bilhin nyo. Hindi naman ginawa ang ute para jan. Kung sa suspension naman reklamo nyo na malambot, bili kayo ng de molye na ute. Or yang navara palagyan ng electronic controlled air or hydraulic suspension. Depende kasi sa preference yan. Wala naman sasakyan na nandun na lahat ng hinahanap. Nandun padin ang tradeoffs.

mas sporty looks kung mataas ang center console nya tingin ko dyan dapat i improve ng Nissan model vehicles nila.. lalo na Pick up mabenta sa Pinas at SUV.

Pretty decent pick-up. But the middle backseat looks cramped tho, especially with that bottle holder. And, should you turn-on that air-con in the middle, the person in front that would have a frozen groin area (or face) in less than 3 hours. That's the only thing that bugs me right now.

Okay naman, sir.. transmission is a little delayed from 1-2 pero tapak lang nang onti at lilipat din siya. Assuming it’s because of the torque.

Globally the D23 (This Navara) Generation is out for 5 years. Its basically half its life span na. So in the near future we can get the New generation.

I have that car too with that car not only do I want do drive but to offroad as well and mine is F1.

This VL variant of Nissan must be twin turbo because it claims to generate 190ps and 450nm of torque, if its single turbo then it only generates maximum power of 160ps and 400nm of torque. Nissan sellers in the Philippines may deceive those who would be VL variant buyers by not clearly indicating in their brochures the turbo setup of the engine. Reph Bagsil, is your Navara VL has twin turbo? If it doesn't have, then you have the right to claim twin turbo installation at Nissan or under the circumstances you can sue them.

For what its worth, it's a great and capable pickup. We own one and kinda hoping it would be less noisy when accelerating. But all the features for 1.4m+. Navara is a great pickup. On the other hand, 1000kgs? We were told sa casa that it's only limited to 800kg 😁

Reph Bangsil the transmission is fine but there are time na you want to overtake fast - the tranny doesn't really know what gear to select. Always hitting redline when overtaking hard.

@@RephBangsil good luck to that 1 ton payload capacity. You can hardly drive the Navarra at night with just 500 kg because the coils in the rear are highly sprung to the point that your lights are focused on the coconuts and not on the road. More forgiving ride for the family, yes. But to use it for hauling stuff (which I suppose is the intended use why you buy a pick-up truck and what it is made to do), think twice.

@Sharkbait did have a Hilux 2014 and you can rely on it for business, my friends have Nissan Navara and they have issues on loads.

2020 has larger view screen and electric adjustable seats

I believe we will have the calibre 4x2 EL.

Deal breaker sakin yung dashboard design at rear coil spring kasi bibili sana ako ng pickup for hauling. Currently choosing between strada gls 4wd or another hilux kasi meron na papa ko hilux.

You can't go wrong with the Strada. The ride it offers you is more forgiving compared to a Hilux. Also, the latter's engine, the 2.8L (which is shared by Fortuner and Prado), is having issues in Australia with its DPF or diesel particulate filter. Just choose a dealer that has a good service reputation. Just talking from experience.

@Shadow Hedgehog correct. The Triton crunches 178 bhp and 430 Nm of torque while the Hilux is rated at 174 bhp and 450 Nm of torque. But with several tests (videos) that I've seen, the Triton always outruns the Hilux.

This isn't sold in america right?

'Hope they can do something about it, it is going to be useless when you have 3 people sitting at the back.

IT sucks on fuel economy. I have one and does 8.6 km per liter. It sucks on payload and towing. Before I had an Amarok v6 and does the same but more torque ans it was nice while I had it. In a near future will return to amarok v6

8.6 per 10 Kilometer is normal. You need to go the Nissan shop. There is a failure. You have 5 years warranty. Fix it right away. Towing is 3500 Kilogramm. Its a awesome stable drive when hauling.

u shouldnt expect a good payload on a 4 foot bed pickup truck... its not made for that obviously...

If you want a pickup with a diesel engine that will last long without draining your pocket, go either Nissan or Isuzu. I've proven that with Isuzu Fuego LS 4JH and Nissan D21 Eagle 4BD25...

True! Isuzu fuegos and Nissan Eagle are among the most durable and longest lasting pick ups in the phils. My sister bought a nissan eagle way back in '94. It's been handed down in the family many times. It is still running good today. The engine is rock solid, never been opened!

10K intervals for PMS 10K kilometers cost around 4-5K pesos then 20K kilometers cost 8-10K pesos. Insurance depends on your provider

Hi great vids but I hate navara because it has no leaf suspension there for it cannot be us in heavy duty purposed of the pick up there for it is useless if you wanna load the bed with heavy items that why i like hilux

Navara is nice for people like me (I have the V6 Outlaw) who use it about 60% of the time on the road and 40% for light to moderate pickup duty but don't use it enough to justify spending Amarok money (which is way nicer on the road). It is not at all a good choice for heavy duty purposes the Hilux is in a league of its own there - but I wouldn't want to spend a lot of time in one on the road.
