Well he didn't talk much about the driving experience. For instance, I rode one and you can feel the humps and bits of rough roads. Aircon is easily overwhelmed by the heat. I suspect it isn't particularly sturdy in the long run. It's under power during overtaking and takes time to speed up from stop positions. Overall, while you save 200-300k compared to its competitors you also have to consider the cost of owning, service, durability and depreciation. This is usually where the regrets comes in for many buyers who simply decide on the looks and price on owning.

Yes depreciation is the main issue here, about the cost of owning/durability they offer 7yr warranty naman and so far sa mga kaibigan kong nakakuha nito, goods naman sya for its price. Still better than ford/GMs tho.

Been seeing one once a week, always stuns me how it looks so good. Its like an alternate universe mazda when they decided not to be so high priced 😆

Mazda’s aren’t as popular in Japan as you may think. Because of the import tax they’re way too expensive here.

I owned a 2020 mg zs style plus and its been with me for 1 year and 3 months and I dont encounter any problems so far. Already with 28k odo since im using it daily going inter provinces and yet it still runs as good as new. Thanks boss Caco, you're my deciding factor why I chose this car over others..💪

@@januescandallo8436i think parts availability isnt a problem with this car as there are already tens of thousands running on the road. The problem is finding a mechanic who is experienced of repairing this car especially when youre out of the metro.

@@FelmarCaranzo suspension is okay, though a little bit bumpy at the back, but i think that's whats normal in a compact crossover.

At first like anyone else, doubted this brand. But i took the risk. After 6 months of curiosity and research- i did land to have one. MGzs Alpha. So far so good. Feels great and confident. Thank you for introducing this brand TCCCI in Phil. Hope this will last for many years and so spare parts would be avaible evry corner.

May lag ang acceleration 1st to 2nd gear but its comfy. Its better in highway though. Aircon is colder than Toyota I think. Very spacious and relatively luxurious on the inside. It absorbs bumps thus its comfy generally.

please do a review on the Nissan Juke, its been a good seller here in ph competing against the likes of this (MG ZS), the Honda Hrv, the Mazda Cx 3, and the Suzuki Vitara all of which you have reviewed already. thanks!

I just finished test driving this yesterday. The MG zs Alpha. Cruise control is OK. Seat adjustment is superb coz Im just a 5ft flat person. Ac is supercold, surround sound HD, has the standard plus manual gear +/-, and added bonus is the sunroof. Not bad for leass than 1M price range the top of the line.

I am an MG ZS Style owner since 2020. I guess everyone has their own experiences with the ZS, with mine, been using it for almost 5 years never had a problem with it, to think i only had one PMS since then. It still does its job. 👏❤️😍

Sorry to disappoint you people.... learn from my mistake, before you buy anything, check it first, drive it, feel it, research about it.... don't just buy because of the looks and features, it will fade away in a matter of time, or some features may not be necessary .... last Sept.28, I bought a ZS at MG LIpa for my daughter, her first car, since it was kinda gift, I let her choose and decide... since she want MG and I know the brand, and because of my busy schedule, I never tested it or contradict on what she wants... never did I research on anything about the product, only after she complain that the steering wheel has an issue. First 3 incident happened, within two weeks since we got the unit, the steering hardened and lock up, told her to turn of the engine and re start, so the system can rebooth....it does, it came back to normal,...less than a week after, it happened again, so we ask MG to pull it out, which they did, to make the story short, it malfunction 6 times in less than one month, the first they did, they could not find what's wrong, yesterday after two weeks in their service center, they told me that they replace major parts on the steering system, and now they are running a series of test.... di ba dapat ginagawa nila yan bago ibenta ang unit? bytheway, they did not provide us a service unit to use, I borrowed the money that I've paid to them in cash-basis, my daughter waited for a month for this unit.... now its a major disappointment, I demand for replacement of unit or refund me the money because its almost one million pesos, hindi ako nagtatapon ng pera sa laruan, ibinili ko ang anak ko para magamit na mobility sa negosyo namin, now , we are loosing some transaction because of this.... to date I already consult my laywer and talk to DTI, ...both agreed to file a case but I have to wait for the right time, it seems that I can charge more than the cost of the car...... I hope you guys who do reviews on cars.... wag lang sana dun sa bago, wag lang sana puro feature, ....mag-review kayo ng sasakyan 2, 3, 5 yrs after nyo nireview ang isang kotse... in that way, you will be fair to both buyer and seller.... lalo na sa panahon ngayon karamihan inuutang lang sa bangko ang sasakyan ....maawa kayo sa bumibili....pinaghihirapan nila pambayad jan....... Its good to hear that despite the low price , they give a 5 yrs warranty...... so whats the catch?!....after 5 yrs bibili ka na ng bibili ng pyesa sa kanila?.....wow!,,,,baka mas mahal pa abutin ng kotse mo kesa bumili ka ng maayos sa umpisa pa lang....and mind you, yung abala ang nakakainis... this is not an isolated case, at hindi lang kotse, marami jan kagaya ko na wala pang one year kung ano-ano na lumalabas na diperensya ng sasakyan o iba pang bagay.... know your rights!... nanjan ang DTI to assist and guide you what to do.... ' THIS OVER COMMERCIALIZED WORLD LEADS US TO A CULTURE OF WASTE!!!..... waste of money, waste of time, waste of materials, etc.... because you cannot recycle 100% any materials that you throw...maybe only 50% or less, the rest goes to the dump site

Basag Productions Have you driven one? I mean have you ever driven an MG ZS? I do... i have also driven several suzuki multicabs as you mentioned as we operate several units as passeger jeepneys in the city way back then... 3 cylinders engine with a small 5 speed tranny? Come on... BTW bigger hp doesn't always mean a better drive. If you listen closely to sir caco's review, he is on automatic mode.. what i am referring is driving it in sportmatic mode.. Remember the old and reliable Kia Pride with the 1.1 or 1.3 engine? Yet we race them on autocross before at times defeating cars with bigger hps like the hondas, toyotas and mitsu's. It all boils down on the driver po.. like you said, maybe you are happy with your Suzuki multicab so congrats and no one will argue with it...😁

Julia Duke Hi Julia I shared the same concern as you had before. When it was first launched here before, then by the Laica Group of Companies, I was apprehensive of the after sales support. I.e. Normal consumables such as oil and fuel filters, air cleaners, etc. But was surprised that these parts were already available in stores in Banawe. Now that it is being sold by the Covenant Car Co. group, the same group as Chevy, etc. after sales service and parts are no longer a problem.

After 5years, sana ma review ulit for quality... Hows the quality? Can it stand bad roads outside metro manila?
