@@lorenzoanaclerio2281 Thank you for confirming my thoughts. I’ve seen all reviews but nobody tests better than Test Drive Freak. He explains inside out and shows off the car not himself. His reviews are captivating. Demand for the car is so big and Covid is such a problem I Still have to wait till March for my car to be built and probably April for delivery. That has saved me a lot of money funnily enough. Ciao!

@@elite8884 Hi Elite, The answer is definitely Yes. Remember it has Economy, Comfort, Sport and Individual Modes for Drive. Economy copes well with normal driving and if I need to make sure I reach a point ahead before anybody else from stationary, say at a red light a quick flick of the easy to locate switch to Sport Never let’s me down . In fact it amazes me how they get So Much power out of a 1.3. Best car we’ve ever had, period.

Nice test drive. With the 1.3L engine may I ask how many rpm at constant speed of 140km/h on a highway? + how about the noise - too loud or sufficiently quiet inside? Thanks

At near end of the video there is fuel consumption test and you can see at 140 kmh with rpm

Der neueste a180 bin ich noch nicht gefahren aber nur 180d, der war abgeregelt bei ca 205 oder so, muss ich mal nachschauen, bin gerade nicht zuhause

Great work again I saw one new A sedan and just like this the only think I hate is the look from back (lights and bumper so strong but those bike tyres are so annoying) and it is slow so I passed :) But seriously inside quality and noise and economy looks impressive I hope pricewise it make sense

Ja aber nach paar monaten ändert sich das preis und je nach land ist es sehr unterschiedlich, zb usa günstigrr als hier, norwegen oder singapur fast doppelte, einfach bei website von autohersteller preis herausfinden :)

To bad the CLA 180 has a Renault engine with a timing belt instead of the timing chain. To have a original mercedes engine with a timing chain you must choose the 200 engine and above. This drives much much better then the renault engine with timing belt ...... IMO

Actually it's motor made by two companies. Daimler / Nissan-Renault- Mitsubishi alliance(company) together and uses same components as nissan gt-r from their end. Lot of cars use cooperation with different makers and motors. You'd be suprised. i have 2016 W205 220 real deal made in germany and this new X118 with 180 engine is still hell of a lot smoother to drive. It's like night and day 😊

Mr11ESSE111 my point was NRM company is using fully their own motor. This is Daimler (mercedes) joint cooperation with NRM meaning using parts and tech from their motor to make more fuel efficiency and cheaper entry level car. Motor is then tuned up by engineers to run smoother, change gear faster etc. Nissan GT-R is also expensive and a sports car for all the fast and furious fans but dont hear people saying it uses same engine as dacia 😄 but it does. Sure base price for this car is around 30-40k but it also comes with a lot of accessories unlike cheaper cars which barely has ac on it and with different packages and accessories price goes up even more. Who cares about which company worked the motor with mercedes. It's still a lot of fun to drive, cool looking car and drives faster than my old "luxury" 2018 volvo v90 D3 awd R-Design with lousy 150bhp going 0-60 in 12 something seconds with a price tag of 69k 😄. But hey I understand your opinion and statement. Peace out 🤟

@@Mr11ESSE111 you still missing the point. Yes gtr has same company engine and actually same engine but is tuned by engineers and customised to make it work how it does. Yes you have same company engine parts in this mercedes but it has been finetuned and engineered by daimler engineeers. It's not in reality exactly same engine as in dacia. It's just same company. Meaning they didn't just take out dacia motor and put it in mercedes you simp. Same goes for apple or samsung phones. They make cheaper and not so fast phones and they make middle tier phones and expensive phones. Using same stuff and tech and some parts from different companies also and engineer them to work differently. You might have 1k+ iphone yeah you have the same piece of shit as my little sisters first baby iphone just a bit faster finetuned version with some extra accessories.
