Been following for years a few years now and have enjoyed watching the xj get built and even tho the vids aren’t coming in a ton I still get excited to watch another even tho it’s not some epic content, the thing I love about your channel is how real it is, I cuss at my jeeps as much as you if not more but it really is a labor of love for these shitboxes. Looking forward to the Utah trip it’s been a dream of mine forever and I’m getting closer. Your vids have helped me tremendously being that your a regular dude with hand tools in a driveway really inspired me to just go for it and solve the issues no matter the circumstances. Keep it up let the trolls hate and enjoy the civi looks awesome

I always enjoy your videos. You’ve helped me to resurrect my 1988 Cherokee, Pioneer into a daily driver. Don’t stop making videos. Oddly I also own a Honda EX-L not a hatchback though. Great Car Turbo, CVT, 1.5 L 2018. Can do without all the new Honda Sensing stuff.

I believe in you man. My wife surprised me with the REM for Christmas. I got that and a game system. Guess which one I play with the most? If you guess REM you would be correct. I wanted the one that goes in the dash but she got the portable one. I absolutely love it regardless. You make things easy to understand and that is why I watch your videos and why I support you. Once you perfect the in dash REM I will be throwing my cash your way. In the meantime I need to figure out how I can wire the portable REM to be a semi permanent one until the dash REM comes out. You the bomb.

That transition of more responsibility is always a real pain in the a**. It definitely gets easier with time but still sucks when you look back at all the time and money you used to have (except as a pizza delivery driver. Man I don’t miss those long nights) I had a feeling some stuff was going on when the upload times were less frequent. Hopefully the last bit of 2019 gets better for you. You always have our support man!

Nice car and i agree the price for extended warranty is crazy. That car in the age of overdrive transmissions should go 200,000 miles . Just got to make sure of your maintenance like any timming belts or chains and then just general maintenance stuff. Most of the new cars have very close tolerances in the valvetrain and any mis alignment or wear will bend valves or worse. And hope you get the death wobble issue figured out. The mj would be awesome as a diesel conversion with a gooseneck hitch to tow your xj to Utah. Lol

Make a list of things that need to be done. And just scratch them off as you go. That's what I do and sometimes I get like a shit ton done, and wonder how I did it all in so little time. Also the sense of accomplishment when a list is done feels good.

You did a great job with the REM. But you need to expand and create something for Wrangler’s and maybe even Toyota’s. I know it’s sacrilege, but if you make and design something cool for them you will expand your market enormously and indefinitely. Yes, lots of stuff out there already, but let your mind wander. 😎👍

Your work on the Renix ecu monitor and videos documenting repairs and upgrades has been incredibly motivating, I had been kinda hesitating for a bit too long, but your videos were that activation energy, I did injectors, body work and frigging floor rebuilding in a borrowed garage space on a corner of campus, either in late nights or over long weekends. I want to take a bit to thank you for what you do, cheers to 2019 turning around for ya.

My wife has the 2.5 cherokee.. its a 1991 but seems to be a crossover version.. your mj videos are my wife's bible.. did that power steering pressure switch work? Someone put the wrong pressure hose on her and so there was a mystery plug dangling that your steering hose video solved for us. First winter that battery froze, too. The glove box door didnt close all the way and drained the battery while the wife was at work.. we may be interested in one of your scanners..

I've heard other KZreadrs give a rule of thumb as shooting a video makes the process go three times longer than it should. So I get it's hard to do the videos in a timely fashion. Also with the fact that KZread is paying its creators a hell of a lot less than it used to, it's turned off a lot of people on making KZread a full-time job which sucks. Keep up the good work Nick. Maybe use that Comanche as a project Jeep and flip it (financially)

  • @NickInTimeFilms

@@comanchefun1612 Tell me about it. Soooo. Had looseness, death wobble, and a popping noise. Thought it was the steering box, got dicked over for 2 months getting a new box that worked. Turns out box wasn't the issue. Replaced the Track Bar Bushing because movement, felt better ish but still popping and wobble. aired up and rotated tires, no more general wobble, but still death wobble over bumps. Replaced pitman heim and re-tighten pitman nut, no more pop and slightly more responsive but still wobble over bumps. Was going to try and put on hydro ram for last minute bandaid but company sent me an 8", so rip that. Next is a steering shaft frame brace that i doubt will do much nw that the pop is gone and i already have so much box support already. Also have ball joints and a new stabilizer en route because i "think" the ball joints have too much play? Nothing else around that I can see moving enough to cause this amount of issues unless a slightly loose steering column shaft would do it? I'm running out of time and things to replace.

Weak link CVT Trans should have hunted down a Manual Trans. Remember you have to pay the bills not that car salesmen or women. Honda or Toyota is the way to go. American Car Company's have been going down hill for yr's. Don't play with that car just put it in Drive and baby that Trans. Myself i would never buy a new ride ever, as soon as you drove off the lot you lost money. Used is the way to go. New rides are an Electrical Nightmare. Buy a used 4.0 with trans and drop it in that MJ Jeep Pickup. That is going to be worth some money in the future. Believe me we all have Responsibility's. Life can be a serious Bitch. Your's has only just begun, Take it from a 63 yr old car Guy who had 9 aunts and uncles 2 fathers one real one step and my mother who have all died. All of a sudden i look around and it's just my Son and I. At 25 you just have no idea what is coming in your future. Prepare yourself and save that money, you will need all you can save. I must tell you i unsubscribed for a wile no interest in your latest content. Suggestion buy a second XJ Stock and make use of all the parts you have put into your's. I have owned a 2000 XJ for 12 yr's and it has done nothing but treat me right but then again i'm not an off road kind of guy.
