I shoot field and Old English clout, barebow is the way I came into Archery, school gyms and sports fields basic Archery. Love the concept of barebow competition, you are only as good as your form, under pressure archery shows your own self how to shoot your own way when relaxed. The additional weight help offset the weight drag on the string and the disparity between the centre of balance on the bow and the drawpoint. With string walking it has a greater distance too. Arrow length has a role too but it's all about equalizing the weight balance without rods.

By the time Michael got up there Spanky was probably feeling the fatigue, big time.

It was a comment on how well they were shooting without all the modern equipment on their bows . The statement that aren't archery is you talking you are pissed about something and just want to pick a fight grow up!

Yes, barebow risers and limbs are essentially the same as Olympic, but you can't use anything other than a button, no clicker, no sights, no kisser, no stabilisers etc etc unstrung the whole bow must fit through a ring of a fixed size.

Olympic Recurve all the way for me, but Barebow is a close second for me to watch or even consider shooting. Compound is a distant third.
