Our perception of time is related to novel experiences. The first 10 years of your life feel like forever because everything is new. Your teens as well. As we move into adulthood we experience less new things and fall into more static routines, as a result we form much less meaningful memories. Our perception of time passed is just density of meaningful memories. In short; experience more new thing, and for all intents and purposes, live longer as far as perception is concerned.

yall are trying to sound really smart but it’s simple math, when you’re 2 years old one year is 1/2 of your whole life, when you’re 10 it’s only 1/10 of your whole life, when you’re 20 a year is only 1/20 of your life. Bigger denominators means a smaller number, so each year is a smaller part of your life.
