15,000km review: Storage-wise it takes my Shoei full-face no problem at all. Or a big bag of shopping. Heated handlebars are almost useless. Never touched the G-button. Sport-2 feels most natural to ride open roads, D for town. Weight is not such a bother as it sounds. Headlight is also (surprisingly) useless. Does at least 290km on a tank with maybe 30km left in reserve. It is supremely comfortable and the screen adjustment is good. The change down from 2nd to 1st is annoying, and you have to ride round it but there's no really good way to do so. It's powerful enough. Get 10k km out of a rear. I side-graded from a TMax 530 to get the X-Adv. Both are totally excellent, though I wish I still had the T-Max too for winter as its weather protection is better and the heated bars were much hotter.

Xadv is 238kg with full fuel. My SH300 (the scooter) is 167kg. The Burgman (the real maxi scooter) is 270kg. The TMAX (the sporty scooter, the wannabe something else) is over 230kg. This xadv, a bike dressed by scooter has a average weight like others. Not so heavy not so light. A good compromise. The only “cons” is maybe the (only) 55hp. 20hp more it should be more fun...😁

Great review (it's like I'm driving :) ) and great sound. Been riding motorcycles all my life, but always founded shifting annoying. Since a couple of years driving motorscooters... fantastic! No shifting and space....only a handfull are beautiful. This Honda looks fantastic! It's the only one I think is more beautiful than mine (I have a Gilera Nexus 500 White with Malossi vario...love it)

There is no competition for the X-ADV. It is in a market of one. The storage is big enough. 21 litres is fine for shopping, and you can fit a full-face helmet in it, but some are too big. I am getting one of these, along with a Yamaha Aerox 155 for the city. Informative review.

Great review. I love this bike. I have a 1200GS and a Moto Guzzi V7 but I still want one. Makes no sense at all. I think it would be a very playful machine. Would need heated grips where I am and probably a top box so getting close to £12K. Shall look at mint used bikes that makes more financial sense. Cheers!

You said "when we expect more hp in things like these... do we need 70-80-100 hp in scooter actually". I think, YES. Because there are a plenty od people like me, who would rather have this kind of moto-scooter, and like C650GT, with wind, mud and leg protection and rest for the legs and extra space for things under seat and under steering wheel, with 70-80hp, instead of motorcycle types withous those benefits.

I don't really see it as a scooter. The style is deceiving but it drives like a adventure/touring motorcycle. It just has a dct gearbox so it's like an Africa twin but more comfortable especially two up. You can have side cases and a top case. it is on my short list for my next bike.
