Check out the dizzying 4500rpm redline on the tach at 3:40, surely that isn’t representative of the engine fitted to this vehicle? Maybe get the Dymo labeller out and stick some new numbers on the dash.

What we needed from holden. An sv8 or superado trim. At least we had that secretary official hsv sportscat colorado model that had a v8...

Couldn’t have used a better Ute?

Makes no sense, I'd rather buy an entry level ute for work, and a proper performance car for weekends.

Here is what I know Slap a Mallett Blower and 3 inch Cat Back exhaust on a 3.6l VVT from 2018 and put 435hp@5000rpm to floor board. I know. Crazy! I built the only (Sleeper) Colorado in ALBERTA. I have way too many V-8 drivers shaking the angry fist as I go from 120km to 252km on the Highway.

Damn, your seating position is way too far forward.

Why the fudge is this truck making NO POWER still? You dropped a 6.2 Liter GM motor in it WITH A SUPERCHARGER? In America, I can buy a crate Ls3 from GM NATURALLY aspirated making anywhere from 480 to 515 horsepower at the crank and that's for 8 grand. When you put a supercharger on a 6.2 Chevy motor, I don't care which way you measure... at the crank, at the wheel, newton meters, etc... the dang truck should have WAAAAY more power. You can bolt on a centrifugal supercharger on any 6.2 Liter Chevy motor WITHOUT A TUNE... and get BETTER NUMBERS... With a tune, 6.2 Liter GM SUPERCHARGED can go into the 1000 hp range. This is just my opinion with my little 2 year Auto Tech degree, and love for Chevrolet. So if somebody want to explain to me why these people are charging lambo money for a UTE that's loaded with options that have NO capabilities?? Why did I just purchase a 6.2 Liter Trail Boss Silverado FULL SIZE without a supercharger and I'm making the same dang power at the crank STOCK as this 100k Tonka toy?? Someone please explain to the ignorant American chevy boy... thank you.

The drive line is no where near strong enough for a 6.2 ls ,my GQ Patrol has a much stronger drive line than a Colorado and it has a LS in it and i love it power and torque isn,t a problem.

They could at least put gas struts for the hood.

This is what the hsv sportscat should be All you saying it’s too expensive , yes it is expensive but it’s still awesome and people will buy it Heaps more fun than a lumbering Dodge Ram

That's engine has no place in that ute. Maybe a v8 duramax. But would have to beef up everything to handle it.

V8 duramax would be even more stupid than the supercharged LS. Why would a sane person think about putting another 200kg in the front?

@@einfelder8262 has more place being on a dual cab ute then a supercharged LS. Meant to be a work horse not a race car. Extra 200kg is nothing for that engine in a mid sized ute.

Putting a Duramax V8 in the front, which would weigh probably 300kg more than the factory 4 cyl would take at least 300kg OFF the GVM and therefore off the load capacity. WTF use is a "work horse" that can't carry more than around 350-400kg of cargo? Not to mention that it would rip CVs apart in the blink of an eye due to way too much torque for the rig. There is such a thing as too much power.

Your right it would destroy the car. But looks like the LS did too. That's why I say beef up everything to handle it. Would be alot of work and alot of $$$. Still would have a shity outcome but be cool to see someone do it.
