Hey everyone, you’ll notice that Sofyan said it has full LED rear taillights in this video when clearly it doesn’t. We correct that in our review of the 3.3T. This trim was filmed first, in the morning while we drove and shot the 3.3T in the late afternoon. Be sure to check out both reviews! :)

@@MJT-DA yeah but the motor is only tuned for 200 horsepower. No matter what you do, if you manually tune a car, especially to increase power, you can't vouch for it's reliability anymore. You could have a totally stable and reliable tune but no matter what I won't have the rigorous testing a stock tune will have. That's why I don't retune my car, I could easily get an extra 50 horsepower out but I don't want to bring in issues of reliability to the car caused by an unstable tune and I'm also pretty sure it would void my service plan.

yes infiniti is not anything to look at. They don't out luxury nor out perform any other brand including genesis. Acura to me is also nothing to be excited about. Those 2 brands I feel are just for the people who have always wanted one and biasly favor them, otherwise for someone open to the market should not get either of those for the money you want to spend. And korean cars are really stepping up their game recently, before they were the cheap shitty brand but now they will soon be the ones to beat in terms of budget bang for buck.

Everything from the chips, memory, and the screens. Even though Samsung and LG are apple’s biggest competitors, they have no choice but to buy from Samsung and LG as they hold many of the tech patents and are the only few companies capable of producing both the quality and the quantity. Apple has the resources to buy from anybody. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know it means a lot when Apple chooses to buy the most important components from their #1 competitors. For 10 yrs!!!! If you’re gonna be an idiot hater, do us normal folks a favor and “edumacate” your damned idiot self. Better yet, go troll elsewhere. bvaljalo Same here. Most cars I’ve owned have had them, and I’ve liked cracking them open and putting the climate control on ‘vent,’ as I found more air moves through the vents with the sunroof tilted up. I’ve also tilted the sunroof up before parking the car on a hot sunny day. Doing so keep the car from getting quite as hot inside while sitting in the sun for hours. Not having a sunroof wouldn’t necessarily be a dealbreaker, but it’s definitely on my preferred equipment list.

I have been really looking forward to seeing this car hit the market. I'm one of the few people actually looking for a sedan with a manual transmission. It certainly looks good, but that back seat looks unusable for adults and it looks pretty stripped down. I would be shopping it against a Honda Accord Sport 2.0t, where I think it would lose the competition. If it really will come in at around $40,000, I would have to choose the Accord, which has the same HP, similar dash layout, much larger back seat, a sunroof, adaptive cruise even on the manual, and undoubtedly better residual value. Unfortunately, the Accord is not as good looking and has fabric seats instead of leatherette, but I can live with that.

Very nice to see you do a review on the manual version, most reviews online are the upper trim. It looks great inside and out though wish they didn't always skimp on features on the manual versions. At this price point, Leather, Sunroof and rear seat vents should be standard. I timed the first run at 7.4 and second 0-60 run you did at 7.2 and Alex on Autos reviewed the auto version at 7.4 which is a bit disappointing. I really hope it is faster than that. I wish the 2.0T version had the same output as the I30N and Veloster N, especially for a heavier car. For this car to sell it's going to have to be priced at about 32K. I did hear from a Canadian review that it was 40K (Canadian) in manual form which would put it about 30,500 US Dollars, which sounds much more realistic. At 35 to 40K US, it would be a fail right out of the box since it is aimed at enthusiasts but without the corresponding performance to even compete with the likes of the Civic Si, GTI or Golf R at 40K.

Hey Sofyan. Great review. I test drove the 2.0T with manual and the first thing that I noticed was the armrest was in my elbow's way when I shifted. I'm ready to buy this vehicle except this small, yet annoying issue is holding me back. Is there any chance that you can speak with the people at Genesis and let them know that the design of the armrest needs improvement for their 2020 model? I'm hoping if enough people complain, they'll make a change. The last thing we enthusiasts want to see is yet another great car like the G70 losing it's manual tranny due to poor sales.

I'm a manual guy, all of my cars are manual. I don't own an automatic currently. But that being said i don't think this model will do well. Only because there aren't many manual enthusiast left. I mean you may think there is, but think about the ones that do, you think they're going to spend 35k to buy a brand new car, that has a manual? They might buy a used car, for like 10k, that's a manual. They aren't going to spend 35k, with the theme being luxury, that has a manual. If one were to go luxury, they will definitely not want the manual. And especially not for 35k. 25-29k definitely. If one wanted a new manual car, that has a budget for 35k, they would get a subaru STI. More power, more fun, and is all wheel drive. I still applaud hyundai for trying though. But expect this to be a very very limited run.

So glad that they made a new sedan of this class with a manual. Even the Stinger has no manual option, so this is a pleasant surprise. But no rear vents? Madness. They just cheaped out. The Honda Accord 2.0t Sport is better equipped (Rear vents, Adaptive Cruise, Sweet Honda Gearbox, huge back seat, sunroof) and stickers for 31. The G70 Sport stickers for 37. But you get nice leather and materials a step above. And that sweet exterior styling.
