Good review! You can run 275s for a little more bite. I have owned a 2020 RT Plus Shaker 6 speed for a few years now. I love menacing, loud muscle cars, but they are not for everyone. The Challenger is so terrible in so many ways, and I love it...lol

After my type r getting getting bought back from Honda due to bad welds and improper turbo assembly that just pissed all kinds of fluids all the time after a few months I got my money back and am looking for a big V8 saloon like the charger srt 392 or the Chevy SS

I get 4.7 to sixty in my 17 RT charger as well. Finish the quarter in 12.8 at 110

Different cars, different purpose. A 392 will spank a CTR in the 1/4 and the CTR will spank the 392 in a road course. Apples and oranges.

I was so mad at my husband because I have always loved Mustangs and we were gonna trade in our 2016 mustang for a new one....and he convinced me to test drive this....um....I will always love mustangs, but this car is fucking awesome. I got a hemi r/t v8 and it's at least the same color (dark gray) as my old mustang but as mad as I was, as soon as I put my foot on the gas n drove her....she sold herself. Sales guy didnt even have to convince me.

The auto has up to 372 hp and 400 tq and the manual version has up to 375 hp and 410 tq

And the manual has limited slip. The auto R/T is an open differential.

Problem with the challengers is they don’t put the power down is overrated a type R sti golf R prolly smoke the car nd don’t make me get started with the top trims... it needs a new platform with AWD option

@@FlyinGato I pulled up to an old Dodge 392 I'm not sure if it was a Hellcat or why didn't have a name on it but off the line it was pretty fast it blew out a big black cloud in front of my car, I can't imagine these cars lasting more than 7 years

Challengers are so common and overrated. Real heavy too. Not super well made either. I'd bet money that the FK8 would walk the 5.7 R/T models.

@@MrGunzngirlz they think they are cool though at a stop light. I pulled up against one but a 18 wheeler made a right and so i had to switch into his lane ,blowing by the truck. I kept right behind him no problem . Dodge demon would destroy the fk8 though. The hellcat even gets a 7.56 nurburgring i think.

@@CSIG1001 They really do think they're cool, and they're just rollin' on look and no substance. I think the Hellcat did do a 7:51 or something. And that was a Dodge hired driver. It gets all it's time from the fast parts and its top speed. We all know the FK8 ran a 7:43. On tight tracks the FK8 is gonna be even faster. What's even more wild is that we've got people in 8th gen Si Civics with Turbo and Superchargers running low 11s like the hellcat. I've just never been impressed with Chrysler.

Good video gato, but the challenger is garbage. A turbo civic for less than half that price would totally smoke that challenger. It’s lighter, faster, and more fuel efficient. The challenger is absolute trash.

You are missing the point of having a challenger.It is not a japanese sports car.It is not a pony car.Please DO NOT compare it to a camero or a mustang.There is no other car like the Challenger.For those who know it is the only car.The car is expensive in Canada.The R/T 5.7 with most options list for just over 50 thousand.The 392 is over 60.We really get fucked here in Canada.
