Фильм және анимация

Hey y'all! My name is Aidan Christine and I am not a youtuber at all lol. I watched so many of these college videos when I was applying so I thought I'd make one! I apologize for the lack of funky editing and music but I just don't care enough to do that lol
Let me know if you want any other college videos!

Liv Hines hey! so uga doesn’t admit based on major. so if ur wondering if you can get into ur major/will that help or hurt ur chances...it doesn’t matter right now. however, some majors you get automatically admitted to, but most of the popular ones (business, communications, etc.) you apply for after a few semesters at uga. i would recommend applying with ur intended major solely because it makes things like orientation easier and it is super easy to change it once admitted! pls feel free to dm me on insta if u have any more questions or this made no sense! @aidy.boo

As a parent that has just gone thru the process, I would have to say this is one of the most accurate, helpful videos out on The Tube. I would only add that one might make a list from US News of all colleges in your range. Then start crossing out schools that you don't like, won't go to no matter what, or are likely far too expensive. (Note that stretch schools probably won't give the same amount in scholarship as a safety school.) There won't be that many left to apply to. Also, it is OK to dream of going to some fantastic school, but if your ACT score is more than 5 points below the bottom of their middle 50% don't bother applying. You really are wasting your (and their) valuable time. I have seen far too many kids applying to Harvard with a 20 ACT - you will have less of a chance than winning the lottery.

Yikes, I have a 3.9 unweighted with a 3.65 weighted, with a 25 on my ACT composite. Any chances I can get accepted to NCSU? I’m in state and am applying early decision.

I’m kinda surprised you have a lower weighted GPA than unweighted. Based on your GPA and ACT, you are not golden, but I know a number of people at NC State right now whose grades and test scores fit into that range when they applied. That being said, what college are you applying into as that plays a factor, obviously more will be expected of you academically if your applying to COE as opposed to CHASS. Lastly, there are just so many other factors that play in, it’s impossible to say if you’ll get in, but you have a shot definitely.

shel ngl it’s not easy to get into. i didn’t think i’d make it. but if you are in range with the test scores/GPA, philanthropic, and stay persistent you can absolutely get in. also try and make connections with people like your admissions officer, your guidance counselor, alumni, etc.
