2019 Cadillac XT4 Review & Drive | Fun Size Cadillac Luxury

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

The Cadillac XT4 is the smallest crossover SUV you can get from the brand and it packs a punch for how small it is. This Premium Luxury XT4 has quite a few features and a very smooth powertrain. Although it's the cheapest Cadillac SUV, it's not cheap by any means considering the equipment that's offered and it's nearing $50k. If you're looking for Cadillac SUV with the Cadillac essence..this might be your best bet. Go for the XT4 Sport trim if you're wanting a sportier ride and appearance. Enjoy this 2019 Cadillac XT4 review and drive!

Maybe if they offered the 2.7t for the Premium Luxury and Sport just like the CT4 it would be more worth the price.

I bought the Premium Luxury with all but the towing package option. Compared the X3, Q3, and NX. This gave me exactly what I wanted. With the model year end deals it was cheaper than comparable units in the class. To me it is the best looking and best interior. It’s Clean, upscale, and CUE is easy to use

Good review. You spoke about what your test vehicle had or did not have but also mentioned the other packages and whether a feature is and option or standard. Some reviewers will say there is no sun roof for example but fail to mention it is an option.

I love the Cadillac styling. The vertical lights I love. Decent engine from what I hear and I also hear about the durability on those key fobs as well. Great review.

In with you, they stand out with those vertical lights and they also were super bright. Dramatically better than some vehicles. Thank ya sir!

Prime Autotainment Oh I’m sure! You know I just rented a 2018 RAV4 XLE and even though they were halogen they really shined brighter than any vehicle I’ve ever owned. I’m not sure if it’s positioning or what but it was great so kudos to modern lighting haha.

Great review as always Nolan. The last Cadillac I owned was a brand new white 1983 Coupe Deville (I know, I’m old 😬LoL) Cadillac has really come a long way, I really like this model. Again thanks for all your hard work and detailed reviews 😎

Great review Nolan. Really liking Cadillac's design both interior and exterior. A bit pricey for sure once all the options are added but its in line with its competitors. I would consider leasing this. Love the color of the leather and the screen being in the dash instead of on top of it. Thanks for pointing out that a skinny key ring is needed. Is it worth 50K ? No, but its still pretty darn nice.

Excellent review, Nolan! I actually just saw one of these on the road today and thought to myself... Wow! It's actually not that small in person. I personally think Cadillac knocked it out of the park with this model. Especially with those sleek vertical lights, matching taillights, and oh so "brown" interior! Absolutely love it! Can't wait to start receiving press vehicle soon. KEEP UP THE EXCELLENT WORK, NOLAN!!!

@@PrimeAutotainment, So far I have been reaching out to manufacturers individually. Toyota was kind enough to get back to me the quickest. Hopefully I'll get my first press car from them come early October! I'll DM you over on IG with more specifics. Excellent video by the way! You're very very good at what you do. Kudos to you!

I think Cadillac did a pretty good job with the overall design of the XT4. I like the color combo on your test vehicle as well. But, for me, that’s where the good news ends. I just fail to see any value proposition here. The car is small and it seems everything is optional. This is way too expensive for what you get. For a $50,000 vehicle it is missing way too much. For that money, I’d go buy a nice RX350 and not have to worry about reliability or resale value, both of which will probably be an issue given Cadillac’s track record. Or, being someone who doesn’t mind non-luxury brands, I’d put my money on a loaded CX-5 and bank the rest.

You said it best...everything is optional lol. Nickel and dime with this vehicle. I was thinking about others at this price and would rather have those too. Thanks for the input as always, much appreciated 😁👍

I like the car a lot. But would I buy it over its competitors? I don’t think so. Too pricey for top trim fully loaded. I’d go with BMW for the money.

Would I consider the XT4? Answer; Hell NO!! Not for $48,000 that's for sure! Give me the Acura RDX any-day of the week thank you very much! Now I would however consider the XT6 for the right price. But the XT4 should be competing with the Mazda CX-5 at $40,000 Fully loaded in my opinion.

The XT6 starts off between $52K-$58K and can be fully optioned up to $77-$78K. I like the XT6 but for what it offers, I prefer the XT4 over it.
