I love this car. I have one and it’s fun to drive. I was recently reared ended. The police and tow truck driver was very impressed how it held up. The car that hit me was totaled.

Thanks for the headlamp tests in low and high beams. Very impressive especially the cornering LED side lamps.

I don't know that I'd pay $61k for a 4-cylinder Cadillac but the $35k starting price doesn't seem wholly unreasonable for what it is.

57k* otherwise every single vehicle you better add on an extra 5 or eight grand in which case then it doesn't really seem that shocking since all the vehicles are now an extra 5 to 8 Grand

I paid a smidgen over 40k for my onyx outback, I know chad didn’t really like it but it’s a good, safe car.

No cats were harmed in making this video.

Great review. I am debating to buy one or not.

Another fine review Chad. I love your dry wit. The XT-4 seems to be about $20000 overpriced but the rebates should be huge.

I always wonder why people complain about the pricing on this vehicle. Noboby pays suggested retail on them. If I am interested in a vehicle it is my money that I worked for and can spend any way I chose.

He’s the worst reviewer I’ve seen on KZread! Why would anyone but a moron think “wheat” refers to the blue exterior color and not the wheat colored interior? 🙄🙄 And what does the “DIC gives you all the information you need” or “the glovebox is big enough” mean? And he’s too lazy to run though the options. Watch Car Confections to see how much better those kids are at reviews! Other than the cat and reference to weinos, this was a boring, factually challenged review. Definitely won’t subscribe. Great looking car tho!

Looks really good interior is about what you'd expect from the competitors honestly not too bad just not sure why they didn't just use the 2.0 that makes 275 horsepower 295 foot pounds of torque

Fine as long as you have factory warranty...that goes for most luxury cars except Lexus.

The sticker shows the color as Twilight Blue Metallic at an additional $625, not as wheat.

Yes the option sheet says blue but the upper sticker says wheat....I should have shown that on the video..but that is what it says.

looked at buying one for the wife... the prices on the options are ridiculous and the absolute lack of power makes it worthless. Save yourself some money and buy any one of the hundreds of other crossovers that have more options and are thousands of $$ cheaper.

The engine has plenty of power. Most who have driven it say that it is torquey and seems to have more horsepower than the listed 237.

It seems like all videos I've seen don't test FWD models...most are AWD. There are not that many AWD XT4s in the real world. Try testing at 71mph...31mpg...for FWD. There are vastly too many MACHO MAN MONSTER TRUCKS on the road. It doesn't take 400hp in a 3/4 ton PU to haul 1 person around 98% of the time. This is the perfect size compromise for a grocery-getter, weekend-touring-car...and it fits in any garage!

Caddy sends me the best top line models.....so AWD....its not like I can tell them no.

Lincoln have better looking vehicles than Cadillac does in my opinion but do like the looks of the Cadillac XTS I think it is.

Why do a 0 to 60 time abs not say what the results were? Maybe you were just trying to show the viewer it can get to 60.

Light wheat is the interior color, outside is tiwghlight blue...(sorry spellcheck is off) and AWD vehicle is heavier and more resistance from the trasfer case... hence why awd gas mileage is less even if on 2wd.. 😉... i work for Cadillac not being a smarty.

yes on the sticker it said twilight blue, but on the paper work it said wheat--I didn't see it all until after the video was out.

Price is high for what you get. Some typical cheap GM stuff inside. I'd get a Mazda CX-t turbo and save 20 grand and have a better car.
