Thank you for watching and contributing your thoughts. Yes, this is the exact result of the polling. One complete review with acceleration testing built in somewhere. I will still have shorter acceleration reviews for cars that I don't get to hang on to for too long though.

Same here, I just like to drive different cars and cinematography was my career for the past decade so that's how I express it. I'm down to hit Poconos whenever there is an open day. I've only been there for SlipStream and never their road course. Do you have an IG?

Just discovered your channel via this review. Outstanding quality and content on so many dimensions! Subscribed! Excellent review of a car I'm strongly considering. Don't need it, and arguably I'm better off with an RS5 Sportback (different class and use case, I know). Or waiting on the new M3/M4. But there is something about the M2 Comp that calls to me (maybe the e46 DNA). Decisions, decisions...

Beautiful footage as always! 2 questions: What they have done with the suspension to get more traction and grip than the “old” M2 ? And second, Is it faster now with the new engine than the stock TT-RS you tested ?

My son has an M4 and we’re in love with this thing. Just posted a video yesterday driving up in the hills with it .

I own a brand new 2020 M2C - I love the way this car feels. Also feels very special out on the road. I was looking at 2020 M4 Comp before going with M2C. I have owned the car for more then 5 months now and can tell you it’s amazing after it’s 1200miles of break in. I have added some Mp parts and the car has the full M_Performance suspension and just takes the car to another level.

A true masterpiece. (Video and the car) Thats probably my fav. of your videos. Everything is just so perfect and clean. Locations are nice too. The mirrors alone are shaped beautifully, even tho i am no BMW guy, a M2 would be my choice.

Thanks! I enjoyed shooting this video a lot too, despite it being cold and wet. The M2C is easily the best driving BMW. A great track car IMO.

I own a 2019 M2 Competition in Long Beach Blue with the dual clutch transmission. It definitely is a head turner and is extremely quick and nimble. I get many thumbs up by passing motorist. It feels very well put together and is very tight feeling. It is quite practical with a useable trunk that can expand with the back seats flipping down. The back seats are also fine with surprising room for a small car. It is a sports car and gives a stiff ride. This and my 2015 A8L 4.0T are an excellent combination.

In sport plus why was there no traction light and why didn't the gear shunt the changes in as heavily as they do in the original M2?! Have they updated the DCT to be smoother in sport plus? Gear changes just didn't sound like it.

Nice reveiw... 275 rears... is that standard??? Mine came with 265s.. I opted for the 437 rims though...

Thanks. I think they are 265 from the factory. Mine was supplied with 275s, perhaps for traction because of the winter situation here.

Hey bud! First off, I love this video. It is like a movie trailer! Good job. Question: I noticed u changed the rear tires to 275 35 r19. Did u also change the front to 255 35 r19's? I am sure the stock rims can handle wider tires both front and rear coz if u look at the stock tires mounted on the stock rims, they angle inwards from the rim lip to the top edge of the tires front and rear.

Hey thanks for the comment. Glad you enjoyed it. The car was provided to me with that tire set up but in my experience, those were Continental winter tires which have a tendency to run narrow, so they are likely very similar to the stock set up in terms of actual contact patch despite the section being wider on paper. I can't remember what the front sizes were unfortunately.

Thank you! I shoot mostly on a Panasonic GH5S with a Sigma 18-35 and Canon 10-18. B-Roll is done with GoPro 7 or iPhone XS.

This car is great ........ but its feels disconnect by not been manual . the interaction with a manual car is just stunning and not about speed but about the feeling . thank for the effort on the video . keep it up .

Congrats on getting the M2C! A few things: the biggest critique is the exhaust note in comparison to the N55 or B58, do those not sound hollow? Also, the muffler is hideous, no? Haha. I think you will enjoy a Giulia QV even more. Can’t wait for that review.

Hah thanks man. I was wondering if you would show up to this one since you've been egging me on for an M2C for a while. To answer, I only really got a chance to test the B58 and it sounded okay but definitely because it was even more muffled than the M2C's exhaust. I also just recently tested the new Audi S5 and even that sounds deeper than the S55 exhaust note. The muffler on this car is so big, I don't know why lol. I think I may have a harder time finding a Giulia QV than I did an M2C!

Track Day TV Yeah, BMW has definitely lost points in the sound department, like Porsche - excellent cars, but not perfect. However, the new Giulia GTV seems to be the perfect car. The current Giulia QV when compared to the M2, sounds better, seats 5 more comfortable, has adjustable suspension for more comfort, is faster while having a 2.9 engine that is derived from Ferrari, and might even handle better. Also weighs less if you can believe it. I heard that a lot of Fiat dealerships are also Alfa Romeo ones, if so, you can show them your 124 Spider video and they will surely lend you a Giulia QV. Best of luck. If you were in Puerto Rico I could get one for you easily haha.

See the problem with that is the M2C competes only with the TTRS and probably the RS3 or MB CLA45 AMG. The Giulia competes directly with the C63 AMG and M3. But I agree, the Quadrifoglio 2.9 engine is a dream and I definitely need to check it out the first chance I get. You're really selling me on this Puerto Rico thing!

Track Day TV They don’t compete directly with each other, true, but they’re both good cars that are not dedicated sports cars like the 124 Spider. They are sporty cars that seat 4, and the Giulia does that in a better way. Yes, it is $20k more expensive but also depreciates waaaay faster than an M2 - there are a ton of 50-60k low milage Giulia QVs are CarGurus. As always, I’ll be waiting for the review! You can come to PR any time, beaches are great and have a ton of car enthusiasts with plenty of meets every week and a dedicated circuit track and drag strip. Just don’t come on May 20-June 10, I’ll be in Japan lol.

We are an underrepresented population in modern-day society in the media. You already hold yourself well. I really appreciate this comment and I hope so too. I am aware of a few other Asian car channels too, but I think they approach it with more of a vlog style. I'm really aspiring to deliver more of a Top Gear style content. Hopefully I'll get there some day 👍

Thanks, appreciate the feedback. I think I mentioned this in another comment, but the narration voice is closer to my natural voice and might sound dramatic but it's just a result of me talking into a microphone at close distance. The on screen voice is more of a "faked" personality for the camera.

But if you're referring to the intro where it's super dramatic, it's just the the theme of the channel, which is supposed to lean more towards a cinematic vibe.

I noticed when you did a close up pan of the rear tire the size was 275/35ZR19... however, the stock rear tire size is 265/35ZR19. Was this a press car or was it borrowed from the owner to do the review?

Are you in the Northeast? I live 15 minutes from Englishtown Road Course which is good to learn on, but it's not a great track by any standards. If I want to challenge myself, I'll either go to Pocono Raceway or NJMP Thunderbolt.

It depends on the track, NJMP is mostly my Z06. Pocono is either car and Englishtown is almost always my Abarth 124 since it is a smaller and more technical track. We should definitely meet up at some point 👍
