This is the persoon who they put in charge of communications. She must have banged her way to the top, I just cant see it happening otherwise. *I got an interview in San Diego with a digital startup company in the late 1990s. They sold cars online - they built configuration technology and had a reverse auction marketplace. I’m thinking - there’s no way I’m getting this job. I know nothing about cars. I know nothing about the internet. I got a law degree. I went to leave and the CEO who interviewed me told the HR manager don’t let her get to the door.* It checks out, definitely sucked up all those promotions.

Leonard Tarantino please, it’d be great to see more women involved. But I do agree with the wish of having someone from engineering/design at least with her, if not instead. One must of course ask if her background is only marketing or is she at least something of a gear head? Of course, looking at it from Aston’s pov, let’s assume that they paid handsomely for time on Jay’s show and someone felt that someone from marketing was more appropriate.... for better or for worse.

The longer ads finish playing, as there is no skip button that comes on screen, then Jay's video doesn't start. The thing is just....done. Regphitting just starts the ad again. This is a new phenomena on these youtube's. Something's changed. The perils of owning a version one iPad. I can't even go full screen anymore on the videos that do play.

You guys have sure upped the camera work and lighting. Absolutely perfect for car shoots in that studio set!

Thanks for posting this. Jay was just grasping at things to talk about and trying to get her to chime in. Whether she was nervous or just didn’t know the facts, and interview is made better when it’s a designer or engineer who is truly an enthusiast. Unfortunately, she clearly was not.

It's like someone took a magic wand to a Mazda MX-5. Beautiful car.

Jay will never not drive a car like he stole it and I love it the engine and shifts are so great sounding I love his vids.

That has to be one of the more beautiful cars I’ve have seen in a while. Love that there is no chrome on the car. Those tail light are so impressive. Thanks for demoing the car. Love it!!

I was thinking the same thing and she looks like just came from doing errands and remembered she had this happening, so she throws on an Aston Martin jacket and hits the interview unprepared! Only thing she's certain of and points out is the placard saying the car was hand made!

I drove the car a couple of times recently and it really was impressive. A great balanced everyday car that isn't crazy fast but a lot of fun.

I do not understand why so many people bashed this woman. I watched the episode twice. The second time was after I read all the negative comments to see if I missed anything. She was humble and polite and professional. I don't think she deserved all the hostility. She's the President of the Americas division. She didn't engineer the car or build it with her own two hands. I'm sure her job goes beyond all the technical details of the car. Calm down everyone. I enjoyed the episode. I think she did a very good job representing Aston Martin.

If someone from Aston Martin in Warwickshire is watching this video please let this be a lesson in how not to sell an car in America. I love Aston Martin but this is the first Jay video I turned off because of the soulless PR women's sales pitch. We need to hear the passion from a designer or engineer that has a history and connection to the car so they can communicate what makes the car special to us with emotion.

I love this content Jay leno is amazing and he knows a lot, today's lesson: Aston always gets the interior right. even the db7 still looks amazing inside and it's a 90s interior!!

Good Gawd.... Did the "President?" of Aston Martin North America just come from the laundromat down the street?? As a president of a high-end auto manufacturer, that's in the middle of the N. American roll-out of their completely re-designed iconic model, you decide that you should represent the company and the car by choosing attire that makes you look like you're about to do some "paint-up, fix-up, clean up" at your sister's duplex..?? This new model showcase on Jay's YT channel probably will be seen by more people, than the entire N. American tour! I'm also going to take a wild guess and say that you're not quite up to speed on the particulars of this car, after watching Jay do all the Q&A for you. Another wild guess.., I don't think you even know how to open the trunk, after your hesitation, and Jay's demonstration. Bottom line, you seem to be a very nice person, and I'm sure you are, but wearing a $30 jacket with some automotive logos on it doesn't qualify someone for a high-level position with an auto manufacturer.

That is one beautiful car. My son rang me the other day, he has a 31 Ford Hot Rod and he wanted to move the battery inside the car so he could place a trans cooler where the battery was. I said hang on I'll see what Jay Leno recommends. He now has an Odyssey battery behind the seats.

aston, get someone that has FACTS and EMOTION, to represent your car and company. wow, really?

Maybe the Designers and Engineers actually made some great cars and that's why business is up.

"We checked the car and it drives great"... this PR persons kills the brand.

So, I'm not gonna hate on Laura. I'm gonna love on Aston Martin. Their cars are so amazing. Best paint in the automotive world. Fabulous Interiors. And now AMG powered!

I would have to say that the 2019 Vantage is a beautiful car inside and out maybe one of the best looking Aston Martins
