Why would 2020s not come with nav already from factory? Is it any different from my 2017 Silverado nav? I don’t see a reason to spend the extra money on the upgrade if it didn’t come stock since the ones on your smart phone are way better and free.

GM builds different packages and trim levels. The higher end trim levels typically (not always) come with NAV. However, you have to purchase additional equipment in that level package in order to get the factory mapping. This option allows you to add just the factory mapping for those out there that prefer to not use data from their phone plan. The other important thing with the built-in mapping is it runs on GPS satellite, wher the phone runs on data and cell signal. No cell signal, is no mapping.

I see your price is $549, is this included the $350 core charge or that is extra?

The $350.00 core charge is ontop of the $549.00, however it is refunded back as soon as the core is returned back in new working condition. We supply the label, so unless you just decide to hold the module, its refunded back within 2 weeks or so of ordering
