@@fpvgearhead5034 I stepped on a landmine in Vietnam blew my legs off under my knees they were able to put my feet on my knees so I am very short and the XT works great I can still touch the ground but it's made in Japan I love killing me some Japanese and I also love Japanese bikes

I have a Honda monkey it is a little tall for me though I lost the bottom of my legs in nam

Main reason I have this DS since I am only about 5'9.

Nice ride! How are you liking the XT? I've got a Super Tenere, but wanting to add a lightweight for casual riding in some single track and been looking at the XT.

Love it great bike I like my dirt bikes to be lower more easy to handle for me, good bike if your not going to rip through the trails good for lower speeds and has a 6 foot turning radius.

Best place to get aftermarket parts and mods for this bike?

They don't make to much aftermarket for this bike probably because not many hardcore riders buy these I only have a skid plate on it but you can google to see what you can find but you can get stuff like seats,slip on exhaust and SM rims and other little things if you want something more capable just get a better DS.

I just got my xt 250 and I'm stoked. My last ride I popped the plastic off next to the tank and I'm having trouble finding a replacement. Do u know what that plastic peice is called? U know the ones on each side the tank? I can't find it to save my life!

@@jakesalvaggio4634 Motosport.com is the cheapest place I have found for OEM cycle parts you can also try cheapcycleparts.com both have pics of the the parts but I thinks that is called the tank cover Good luck.

I love my XT so much I sleep with it every night and sometimes I get naked and sit on it I don't see why I cannot marry it I'm sure California will allow it they allow everything else except for green stickers
