@17:50 The engine is the 2GR-FKS, with D4-S tech...so it has both direct and port injectors. You can see the D4-S logo on the engine cover. It has both Atkinson (simulated) and Otto cycle, so it can keep the valves open longer to reduce pumping friction and increase fuel economy in Atkinson, or it can produce more power in the Otto cycle.

Isaac Resek only vehicles I’ve ever traded in and got more than was expecting was my Tacoma/wife’s 4Runner
Like this so far, I'm a Toyota man, had a '77 FORD 150, great truck and I wish I kept it, but I had a '94 Corolla that quit on me at 500 thousand miles. Love the 90 degree rear door swing, and rear back seat storage split. I hope the lumbar support has been addressed and really works well, and I don't live to far from this dealership so I love the leather for easy cleanup of pollen, dust,dirt, etc, especially living in the South. This is a smarter design as well as a smart video, great job!

Grant Sipos yes six speed v6 with alternate four wheel drive 20 mpg cruise at 55 best speed
I have a 2018 Toyota 4runner TRD premium for the wife and love it. When it comes time for myself to get a pickup I am really considering the Tacoma. Retire the 94 Ford Ranger 4x4. After watching this video, I realized Toyota needs to cross a few things with the 4runner and Tacoma. Like adaptive cruise from the Tacoma and the gas assisted hood struts from the 4runner among other things.

Riley Johnson lmao the tundra? Bro that thing is a gas killer. Nobody wants it. Thats why tacomas get sent across the sea and borders. Cuz they are lighter and more durable than tundras.
These people who are complaining about the price, just buy the sr5 and add what you want and leave the other stuff out, that's exactly what I'm doing, just got my trucks 3 days ago and in a few months I'm getting the rims and bigger tires & a few other things and itll be to my liking

what a beautifull and usefull truck. manual transmision. great. I want to get one to use it in Panamá but it's pretty expensive. maybe I could get one in copart. although the process to do that is quite stressful. Has anyone experience doing that?

There are many good articles online explaining why drums are used on the Tacoma if you want to learn.
I have the 2018 trd pro and it’s slightly different 🤔 I was looking for more info on it but this literally just confused me

I have a TRD OR and trust me. The push start button novelty wears off, traditional key starter is cheaper to fix too if they break.

how does toyota get tacoma and tundra trd pro so right and fail with 4Runner, its not a compete fail but missing details that wouls make it special especially for off road
You cannot charge your phone through a case. We even tried it with my brother in laws case which is just thin plastic on the back.
