my 2018 has 94,400 miles zero issues, regular oil changes and tires/battery thats it. Gonna drive it until she wont go anymore :)

That is a beautiful car. Older cars are better then modern turbo charged engines that won’t last as long as naturally aspirated engine

Bought a 2017 last year. A wonderful car.

I have the 2017 with a solid black interior. The engine and transmission pairing is outstanding... as you mentioned. I normally trade my cars after 3 or 4 years but I've enjoyed this car so much that I haven't really been wanting to trade for a new car. I thought I would go for the Crown, which replaced the Avalon but I'm just not that impressed with the Crown. Anyway, great review as always. BTW, I don't think the Econ mode changes the shifting parameters like the Sport mode does. The Econ mode basically cuts out the AC compressor during uphill and hard acceleration. At least that's how it is stated in the Toyota literature.

I have the same care -- only in silver -- I love it! I have had 'zero' problems. It goes and goes. Lot's of pep. As a believer in regular/often oil changes (every 3-4000 miles), I expect to run it to at least 250K.

You are greatly underestimating the life of the car. I had a 2007 Avalon XLE I bought used with 44,000 miles and I had 431,998 miles before it got rear ended. I now have a used 2018 Avalon XLE Premium. I fully expect with proper care 400,000 to 500,000 miles.

@@stevensheegog3942I just got my ‘18 XLE Premium yesterday! Literally 2 minutes after I drove it off the lot a deer sprinted into the left front fender and smashed it in pretty bad. Avalon handled it like a champ though and it will be fixed by the end of the month.

How well does it handle turns? I'll never forget how bad the Camry was that I tested in 2016. Thanks for doing reviews on these older cars. It's especially useful in today's market conditions.

It’s decent, not like a sports car, but I think it’s much smoother than a Camry.

My favorite Toyota sedan I want to buy one.

I have a 2017 Hybrid limited Avalon with 999999 miles about to clock 2000000! Only problem the driver's seat control bar came apart and the headlights are cloudy,other than that it's been a maintainece free vehicle.

Im contemplating on wether getting this generation of avalon or the new one. This generation would be cheaper but the new ones look very good

I just paid _just_ under $20k for a 2018 XLE Premium with ~64k miles. I think it was like $19,900. Clean title but it was a previous rental car and had a very minor accident on the rear last year.
