The reset tip is GOLDEN! You def gotta hold both buttons for a full 6-8 seconds just like he said. If the vehicle has ever been programmed to another door you have to reset it or it won't program.

Dude, I was going nuts with it. I had a 2020 Chevy Silverado, and I couldn’t get it programmed to save my life. Genie garage door system 2016. Method saved me so much time and frustration. Thanks man!!

My man! Same experience to the "T" was getting frustrated after about 12-15 tries; also tried parking inside and outside the garage.. then tried to use the learn button on the opener itself, no dice. Used your method, worked the 1st time. Appreciate you!!

Dude there’s absolutely no words that can express how much i appreciate your video i was in same about was about to drive thru garage for an excuse to buy new one but found your video and did exactly what you explained after doing the remote and button on roof i went into garage the learn light was red on machine on ceiling of garage came back out to truck pressed the button on roof 3 times and it freaking works now …..thank you thank thank you !!!!!!!!!!!!

I drive a 2017 BMW m240i and this is the ONLY programming method that worked for me. The garage door opener is an Overhead Door Legacy model from 2006.
