Depends on position, if your leading and gaining then you want to wait to last lap to do it as your making a gap between you and p2 to make sure you can keep your position

He knew that whenever he took his Joker, Hansen would beat him, so he waited to make sure he wasn't stuck in a dust cloud and potentially lost second place to Foust.
