I had the same problem with these in the outlet plus the strap was too much for me.... I like to wear mine loose with straps loose but these dont dangle lol [pause] also the David Robinson lookin jointz in the Barkley cw without the pump i had to go up to a 13 from a 12 and they still cut into my toe and sidez of my feet....(I think it's cuz I'm half asian with flat wide feet but maybe im not the only one)

Oh yeah one thing I didn't mention was that I could not strap these down lol. My feet are pretty fat but man... These straps were made for skeleton feet lol. Such dope shoe but yeah what a shame! Thanks for letting me know your experience with these. Hope you are doing well brother

@@FiveMinuteSneakerTV a bit better found a great temp job for a non-profit but they want to hire me but cant cuz Peopleready made them sign a fuctup contact where they pay $25/hr to them and I only get $14.25, and if they hire me they have to wait 3 1/2 months then they still owe half my wages so I prolly ain't getting on there but i got 2 super part time job at footloccer and Lidz both hired me but it's been a while and they haven't got me started yet idk eff is happening but I been at that temp job almost a month and a half i like it just suxxx i probably won't get it even tho it's been going well and it aint my fault slave-o-ready iz screwing us both

Exactly! I was very careful trying them on but my pink toes were getting punished by something really hard that was on the inside of the shoes. It felt like there was a rock stuck inside 😂😂

Bro!! You ain’t kidding, I wish I would had seen your video before buying, when I came to this country I couldn’t afford sneakers and I always wanted this plus of course Jordan but this shoes are extra tight I can’t really wear them for long 10 minutes and my feet was numb no exaggeration

Ayy Fam thank you. If you have a chance to check these out in stores, I would recommend. If you can clear the width somehow, you may be able to work with these. I just couldn't do it. It is quite sad...

Re-release Charles Barkley...the round mound of rebound. He went to the finals with Phoenix in '93 with Kevin Johnson and the Suns! Lost to Jordan and the Bulls! Too bad about the sizing. Atypical for nikes to be narrow like that (at least for me). Stellar review as always!

I love the game 6 of that series! I have an old DVD that shows the entire game haha. Barkley was a beast in that game altho the suns lost. I think you probably don't have issues with Nikes because you have normal feet haha. I always find Nikes being narrower than other brands. But this particular shoes, even normal feet folks may find too narrow in certain areas of the shoes. Just very poorly designed I would say. Thank you for watching 🙏🙏

These are for me the most beautiful sneakers that Nike has ever released. I bought them in 1993 with almost 4 months of my savings, but for me it was worth it. At that time in Mexico it was very difficult and expensive to access these types of products. I am a size 10, but I had to buy them in 11 because they were the last ones left and I wanted them so bad. I remember that they felt weird but I thought it was because they were one size larger than what I wear. Until now I am aware about the design problem. Hopefully Nike will correct the fit problem and bring them out again.

These were beyond uncomfortable lol. I would say unwearable for more than 10 minutes. Also remember that I already went up half a size. Maybe it was just my pair but yeah... quite sad! I returned them back to Nike just yesterday. Hope they remake these in the future with better materials and proper fit.

You're preaching to the choir on this. I started noticing this in 2015 when Nike did the Air Max2 CB 94. I bought both home & away color ways in my true fit size of 9.5. I have a slim foot, I should've bought a 10 in each. A couple of my friends who have wider feet, said they had to go up a full size, and 1 had to go up from an 11 to a 12.5. Nike makes too much money to not have better quality control.

It's really good to know that I am not the only person on this. I have a pair of 2016 Air Force 180 (Black Royal) and I had no issues with those. I couldn't agree with you more on what you said regarding quality as well. Such a disappointment. They could have won over folks like me that grew up with kicks like this and they just had to ruin it with weird sizing and awful quality materials...

Worddd I remember those as well altho I never owned a pair. Early to mid 90s bball shoes are the best haha. I wish I had more money back then. I did a video on OG Air Force 93 Mids as well. These were my first Nikes and I was able to acquire a pair DS with box for a decent deal. Still holding up well.

I had the Black & Grey Retros that came out in the Mid 2000's

Yooo man Charles Barkley is the man and the sneakers look dope. But the glue stains and quality on the shoe doesn't look that good 🤔 Usually Nike has pretty standard sizing too so its weird that they are so slim. Charles Barkely indeed was the man haha. He was my fave out of everyone back in the 90s. Nike sizing actually is quite snug compared to other brands like Reebok, New Balance, etc. but I already accounted for that when I purchased these. AND these were still too narrow and snug 😂😂 such a shame. Beautiful shoe tho

Damn that sucks. Cb's r dope. I dont know why nike makes their toe box area so narrow on alot of thier shoes. Some shoes are good but 75%have that narrow toe box and it is painful to wear. Still a cool sneaker though. Keep the vids coming!

Yo Fam 💯💯 word. This one is the narrowest shoes I have ever tried on lol. Everything is cool except where the pinky toe sits inside the shoe. It's hard to describe but it feels like they put rocks inside the shoes around that area 😂😂. Awful design!

I have them , in 10.5 they are very comfortable for me . I have narrow feet. I love them I can wear them all day long!

I think they were just Called Grant Hills haha. My brother was a huge fan of Grant Hill and he had 2 of his signature shoes from mid 90s. Good old days!

Five Minute Sneaker TV heck yea! CB is slept on, but his sneaker was ahead of the game...

I have the Air Force Max 93's (different from both the models you showed here) and the sizing is strange. They are narrow in some places and have lots of room in other places. I do like the way they look though and my foot was narrow enough to make due with them. They are comfortable now and are my go to sneaker for a rainy day. Very heavy duty and easy to clean.

I know exactly what model you are referring to and I am a huge fan of those in black grey cw. I have never owned them before but always wanted those. Thanks for the heads up on sizing. That would not have worked for me at all haha. I have a pair of 2016 retro of force 180 they fit me perfect at true size so yeah it seems like Nike sizing is just all over the place unfortunately

@@FiveMinuteSneakerTV It makes sense for sizing to change between models because shoe size is more than just a matter of the length of a shoe. The width and toe box shape will also effect how someones feet fit in a shoe and everyone has different feet. It is strange however that not all the Charles Barkley's would fit the same. You would think they would make a shoe for his foot every time and therefore the sizing would be consistent among his models. This may have been the case with the originals. Maybe they are using different lasts for the retro's of his shoes. Since there isn't as big a market for his shoes and they often go on sale, they may not be investing enough in his retro's (the material quality seems less than desirable). This ironically contributes to the shoes going on sale. I wish they would treat these historic models with respect and invest in good materials and construction and try to build some hype around lesser known models to account for the extra money and labor spent on them.

In fact, I had the OGs of this exact shoe and they fit me perfectly fine and were much more comfortable as well (nothing hard inside the shoes that poked my pinky). You definitely make a great point about Nike making these shoes with less quality materials and attention which further contributing to these shoes hitting the sales rack. Not only the quality was..meh on these, I feel like the they completely messed up the overall shape of the shoes too. I wish I still had my OGs for side by side but yeah... Thank you for your insight and input bro.

They really are great shoe and they bring me back so much Nostalgia too. If you get a chance to try them on in person, I would recommend it. Sizing was very odd for me as you can see in the video. Thank you for watching 🙏🙏

same problem but these shoes look like something that an E Boy or somebody who is depressed would wear and i also have these shoes but what i do is take the beginining of the strap and then i strap it to the part where the strap is being hold

I was one of those kids! Haha. I had an OG of these back in the day. This re release is not a very good representation of the OG IMHO and they really messed up the sizing.

Yeah it's unfortunate for sure! The pair that I used to have back in the day I believe was a GS model and I don't recall it having 34 on the heel tab either but I found some pics online of OG men size pair that had 34 on it.

I don’t like very many Barkley’s but the 180s were nice as well as the Barkley posite and the Chuck Posite. Nothing worse than that pinky toe pain smh lol.

Yeah man these are the worst in terms of pinky toe punishment lol. They put something really hard inside the shoes around the pinky area. I don't know why it was done that way. I love the 180s and have the black blue pair. Super dope

I got them in blk gold they fit great but the strap is too short. So i rock them loose.

They didn't reach Hawaii yet. I took a Big L this morning on the travis Scott 1s. Copped the jordan 1 low black toe and mystic greens. I'll keep my eye out though for those Barkley's. Awsome upload as always

Nice pick up Fam 👌👌 I like both the black toe Lows and mystic greens. I took 8 Ls on the Travis Scott 1s too but I was too hurt by it since I wasnt expecting to hit at retail lol. Depending on where the resell ends at, I may buy them at resell. These Barkelys tho, make sure to size up if you get them. As covered in the video, this rerelease wasn't designed for people like me with wide feet. Quite disappointing!

Unfortunately these are originals from 1993. I bought them on ebay about 15 years ago or so. The midsoles would probably fall apart if you hoop in these now but hopefully Nike will retro them soon in the future.

My current pair is brand new. Back in 93 or 94, these were my first bball Nike shoes. I wore that pair to the ground and later I got super Nostalgic. I bought a fresh pair via ebay for about.... 115 dollars (15 years ago) and kept them deadstock since. But yeah for sure, I really hope they re release soon. I do not play much bball anymore (bad knees) but I miss those days when I was chasing down comfortably fashionable bball sneakers to ball in haha.

@@FiveMinuteSneakerTV yeah i feel that. If you want to hoop just take one aleve before you play and one after. Just dont play back to back days. If you want to go all out, get your testosterone checked, especially of youre near or over 40. I have low t and im on therapy with the pellets, i feel good when i hoop no knee soreness at all. I have some heel spurs thays the only pain. But yeah i hope they bring those back soon.

😂😂😂 The OGs that I had before didn't quite fit like this. I think Nike just messed up the proportions on this re release. Or maybe I just received a defective pair haha. I tried them on once inside the house and said "nope can't do it" lol

...but why no on foot?? Couldn't you of just popped a quick one off before you returned them. I also had these in the triple Black colourway, and mine cracked and crumbled pretty bad at the back (I think it was these anyway, 25 years is a pretty long time!!) My toes are naturally Nike Air Max trainer shaped at the end and look like a letter "n" because I've squeezed them into smaller shoes to try and make my feet look smaller. I was a size 15 when I was little and now I'm a 10 Haha!! I have really shrunk them though, and I think shoes are being made to look?? 🤔😕😮😬... not sure if its "bigger" or "smaller" I cant work it out 🤣😂. Blessings Mate. I tried them on carefully ones and I just returned them yesterday. I thought about doing an indoor on feet but decided against it. Knowing Nike, they will probably send these either back to their retail shop or to an outlet and I didn't want the next buyer to end up with worn shoes. I am doing well! Just been super busy with work and life... I found some time over the weekend and binge-filmed a bunch of videos that I have been behind on. It does definitely sometimes feel like a job haha.

Lol dude i went sz10 in all my CB shoes and they are fine. Too bad man. Lol

What disappointed me is that they went to all the trouble to retro these and they DID NOT PUT THE 34 ON THE HEEL STRAP. Like really? Come on now. I actually bought them $74.99 off Eastbay last week with free shipping and 10% off. Ended up paying $70. I am going to get the 34 embroidered on the heel tag.

@@FiveMinuteSneakerTV I had been eyeing them for a long time. They went down to $74.99 a couple days before Christmas and I pulled the trigger. Funny thing is that they are back up to $89.99 now on Eastbay. They will be here 12/30. I do have a pair of another color I bought earlier in the year to play ball and I agree that they are too narrow. I almost rolled my ankle a few times and had to retire them. I never had a pair of the OG as a kid but years and years ago, like 2002/3 or so, I bought a pair of the OG white/purple on Ebay. Those had the 34 on the heel tag in orange. Unfortunately they are unwearable even though they are deadstock. I am not taking that chance. Those are my holy grails and I wish if they ever brought that color back that they go all in and put 34 on it. What's odd is that they did an all red color as a tribute to Barkley playing in Houston and those had "4" on the heel tag. So they can do it.. but still don't understand why they didn't do it to these.

One clarification - the white/purple CW were OG from 1993. I bought a pair on Ebay around 2002. The all red pair is still up on nike.com I believe, as it was an exclusive there. Once I get my black/purple pair and have 34 embroidered on them I will wear them occasionally.

I am glad these worked out for you. But yeah...idk what it was with my feet. I may try to see if I can try another pair in store somewhere to make sure. I usually wear 8.5 and 9 in Nikes and I went with size 9. My feet fit in but pinky toes were right up against the hard plastic/rubber part

I dont even remember the charles barkely shoes.. Tho maube inwas never a fan of sir charles.. Haha nice colorway just not a fan of the shoe in general.. Looks super snug

Five Minute Sneaker TV I’m from Mexico, I hope write god. I was thinking buy these pair but after see your video I’m thinking twice. I usually sized 9us, do you think I should buy 9.5us?? For me, I don't think going up another size would have worked. But please keep in mind that I have wider feet than most. What's hard about this is that everyone's feet are different. It's hard to say for sure but I can say that this is definitely one of the narrowest shoes I have tried on. Especially where the pinky toe is supposed to be.

I had to get a size 12 i couldnt squeeze my foot in at first

@@FiveMinuteSneakerTV you shouldnt have returned them,mine broke in after a while i also had to loosen the laces up,it had many factory flaws i got them for 110$ at footaction
