Here is my gear list and pack contents for a multiday trip into the New Zealand high country with explanations on why i have chosen these products over others,
Bare in mind this is in New Zealand so all measurements are in metric, Meters, deg C and NZ dollars.

    Enjoying the videos Phil. Can recommend the Jetboil flash, can normally bring them in for $130 nz including shipping from states. I use one for back country and the instant oats. (351grams cooker, pot, cup and lid) First time cooking venison in the tops on it with the jetboil pot stand this week and a non stick works well. Burnt through only 140grams of gas over 5days

    Great videos, can you let me know what you think of the Nature Hike tent? Need a new one for this year and can’t afford an MSR or other expensive brand. Was it the Cloud model?

    Cool video. Great to see others take on what they take with them. What are the model of the macpac jackets that you have if you don't mind me asking? Are they the über light down insulation and the pack-it-jacket rain jackets? Cheers

    i have 4 macpac jackets, 2 down jackets and 2 outer shells. have a light version and heavy winter version in both, not sure of the exact models but to me just think about layering and weight.
