Define young. Yes, college kids aren’t running out to buy a Lexus. But young professionals have been flocking to Lexus in droves. Check your facts. They understand that Lexus may not be “the best of the best” ; but, when people want a reliable luxury car that they don’t have to worry about fixing every month: they buy a Lexus. Now more than ever before.

I currently drive the Audi A 8L and it is 2011 very nice car but lately, it cost so much money to keep it running. I couldn't possibly disagree with this review more. I love this new LS and the F Sport is the only trim I'd buy. This guy probably prefers the overweight, sluggish hybrid. Did it ever occur to you that maybe Lexus is trying to expand LS appeal beyond the silver haired demographic? I'm not a senior citizen and the LS F Sport is at the top of my list, based primarily on price and reliability, but the driving dynamics are also excellent if equipped with RWD and optional air suspension...the only correct configuration for the driving enthusiast.

Lexus need a rotary knob for the info controller along with a click selection push button! Old people just do not know how to use the modern touch screens since they usually do not own smartphones. I am talking here people 50 years old and over. Part of me just wants Cooley back tbh. It should have been him and only him from the get go.

Seeing this car in real life at the NY Auto Show, I was extremely disappointed. The exterior design is unique but it could grow on me. The interior design is very unique, but I found the materials quality to be very, very disappointing. Walking over from the Genesis G90 to the Lexus LS was a no-contest win for the G90. The LS was once a great car. With the combination of unusably poor infotainment ( _JUST_ use a knob, not that worthless trackpad thing) and iffy interior materials quality, fit and finish, I have to say this car is a "no thanks".

It’s fashionable to put down the Lexus infotainment system..all journos do that. When they can’t find anything to ridicule with the car then the last resort is to go for the tried and tested excuse of infotainment system. I remember when everyone complained about the mouse/joystick format controller and asked for the trackpad format. Now that they have it, it’s back to square one on excuses. A person that can afford such cars is not dumb and can easily navigate the system unlike the bias that the reviewer holds against them.

Sounds like a hater to me. Really nit picking. When you compare to an AMG, don't forget to include the difference in cost for maintenance. The AMG will put you into an early grave. I'm actually looking at a used ls500 luxury right now, and i can honestly say when I got in it and drove it, it was one of (if not thee) nicest cars I have ever been in.

Complaining about how a luxury car manufacturer offers customers multiple style options to choose from? Seriously, can you be any more unfair and invalid than this? I guess no one is with you on this one.

I find the new 2019 ES more attractive than the LS...the new LS looks like a Mazda/Telsla...its UGLY.....FAKE plastic exhust tips on a $75.000 dollar car is a rip off....the LS is an OLD MANS CAR......Id buy a 2019 ES over the UGLY LS any day.....just buy an ES for half the price and for a more appealing car.
