About time somebody did.

OMG! This guy is hilarious! Like watching a Seinfeld episode! One of the best Kona videos I've seen. I didn't know that Kona is built on Elantra platform (nobody else's video said that). Driving a 2013 and 2016 Elantra was nice, but thinking of moving up to Kona next as I used to drive an SUV for a long time before Elantra and some of them grew to be too big. That's why these Crossover SUV are so popular; they are the right size and loaded with the right features. For the record, I'm thinking Kona SEL with Technology Package.

Im getting the Elaine from seinfeld vibe with that dancing. Lol

Black is the only color I would buy this in because I don't like the clash of the other colors with the black cladding.

i got this new kona and i really love it.

I kind of liked that. Was really bored out listening to tons of videos so that I could decide my vehicle. Your video did help me relax a while from a serious task of car selection. And that helped in my decision too... Keep your videos like this only Steve. That was indeed good.

Really like this vehicle, especially with the 1.6T and DCT transmission. It is the replacement for the Nissan Juke. Really enjoyed this review. Happy I found this channel.

Blake Swan nope, the juke can't be replaced by a Hyundai. It's being replaced by the Nissan kicks. This car is it's competitor, Hyundai, Kona. I think this will sell better than the kicks.

The small rear cargo is the one thing that might be a deal breaker. Otherwise there's a lot to like here, thanks for reviewing a lower end model. We need more like this!

I only did not subscribe I also bought my Kona, thanks to you. I am so in love with my Kona. The chunky, funky and spunky really stuck. Keep up the good work.

I think hyundai is the only manufacture today that uses an orange housing on the rear turn signals for USDM vehicles. Everybody does red or clear w/ orange bulbs. It makes the car feel so late 90s.

bmwmsport11 it's called a lens. So orange bulb is ok, but lens you don't like. Well, no one can please everybody.

Of all subcompact SUVs, why do you choose to review the middle trim of the Kona? What separates this car from its peer is its 1.6L turbo engine, which provides acceleration comparable to a BMW X2. It outruns all but the sportiest and most expensive hatchbacks, while being an SUV with AWD.

I got a Kona SEL two montha ago and honestly I love it! Im not tall (5'1 lol) So the size is perfect for me. It has the right amount of technology and gadgets to feel like a premium car- it doesnt have the wireless charger but honestly my phone is too big for that. Also, dont need the turbo because i only do city driving (nyc traffic is basically bumber to bumber)

Recently I test drove this car. The 1.6 turbo version and I liked it. Very fun ride.

Why are the front lights kind of flashing at 6:44? Seems odd. It happens again at 9:27.

It’s when you record led lights they flash bc of the way the camera is focusing on them it’s lit the car I have the exact car and when I take videos it does the same thing

tried it and hated it. the engine barely pulls the car forward.. its incredibly underpowered.. and it makes a lot of noise, you cant even hear it in the video, in reality it feels like driving a tractor... this car is unbearable and just irritating to drive and i really wanted to like it because its affordable and looks cool.. but its crap unfortunately.
