Five years ago today! This still my top pick.
This is terrific walk-thru of the vehicle. This is the type of tutorial needed when you purchase this car. The electronics alone require this type of detailed explanation. Well Done Mike!!
From the side view, the new design of the back reminds me of an Audi A7 (from the side at least) anyone else?
I didn’t like the design in first but when I saw it in the parking lot I was like damn this mama smokin

Car and Driver has already named the 2018 Accord car of the year!

Duane Fields Thomas Mcneil Butthurt ToyoTAX fanboys.. here to make you shit more www.kbb.com/car-news/all-the-latest/most-awarded-brands-2017/2100004442/ 2017 biotch www.motortrend.com/cars/honda/accord/2018/2018-honda-accord-15t-vs-2018-toyota-camry-25-comparison-review/ www.autoguide.com/car-comparisons/2018-honda-accord-vs-toyota-camry-comparison All of them are paid off publication and yet all of them have the same conclusions. hmm.. Honda does not have the same money like toyoTAXI has, clearly you can tell that by TOYOTAXI advertisement through their try hard wannabe looking, feeling fast Camry advertisement in the TV . TRUTH hurts, suck it up and eat TURD toyoTAXI fanboys.

Duane Fields lol what
Nice review! I laugh every time you used that yellow finger. It was effective, yet a little out of place lol
As usual, a very detailed review of another excellent vehicle. Great presentation of the interior features, and I appreciate you putting up a window shade so that we can clearly see all the screen menus without dust/sun reflections. Mike, thank you for taking the time to put together such useful reviews!
Honda! Honda! Honda!!!! I have always driven Honda's and Acura's. The 2018 Accord is the bomdiggity 💯
I've just ordered this car, and as an old lady whose never had complex technology, its very helpful. I will go back to it many times til I figure out all the bells and whistles. I purchased an older car to afford the touring trim, cuz I love it!
Love the yellow hand pointer, just can't help but smile when I see it.
Don't ever give up that hand sir. You are on to something. So easy on the eyes also entertaining!
Great video seriously considering this car and i love how detailed you were gives me a great idea of what I’m getting for my money
Love it, very detailed informative video as usual Mike, I always had a feeling that the next Accord was gonna have styling cues like the hot Civic, love it!
It is a crazy, rich with details review ! Thanks dude ! You rock !
cant wait to get my Honda Accord Hybrid Touring. Gorgeous inside. Great outside. Awesome that they added back the physical radio buttons and the cooled seats and that the center arm rest can now be put into an intermediate position instead of just open all the way or closed all the way! My wife loves her '17 Accord Hybrid Touring. Wonder what mpgs it will get? very impressed
I just got this car as my first car ever For a great deal :D paid for it cash so I’m happy even though it’s not brand new it’s still a good looking car !
Wow Mike - great review. Impressive that you got to review one so early! Keep up the great work.
I am your new suscriber, even when my native language isn't English I understand it very much. I ve just buy a Honda Accord touring and your review made me decide, thank you very much. Greetings from Villahermosa, Tabasco Mexico. Please continue whit that enthusiasm!!
Great review brother. Been eyeing this for a month a now and test drove one Sunday. I'll get this in April when my Toyota lease runs out.
Great review! I love the fact that you really know the vehicle and avoid using ambiguous adjectives like wow and super and sick etc. Great details that really help me understand how this vehicle works. The looks of the car are truly spectacular but the attention to detail in developing the software interface has got to be one of the best there is regardless of brand. Toyota should be paying attention. They are always several years behind on in the infotainment department. Again thank for providing us some meaningful detail.
This is my first time seeing one of your videos. You're very thorough, and I love that pointer! hahahaha!
I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS VIDEO! THANK YOU MIKE!!! 😄

I love my 2.0T Accord!! It does everything so well.
The hand pointer gets me every time
Man, its wheels looks. SO. FREAKING. SLEEK. AND. STYLISH. AS. HELL. OH. MY. GOD. THIS CAR IS SO SUPER COOOOOL BABY!!! HOLY SHIT, LOOK AT THAT!!!
Very sharp car. Great video as always Mike!
Congrats on being the first to have a tour of a new Accord on KZread!!! Awesome review!!! :)

Bigger injectors, bigger turbo and a tune and you have a Type R spec motor (on the 2.0). Add a bigger intercooler and full exhaust and you're in Veyron territory.
I bought the 2018 2.0 T two weeks ago, and this car is amazing. I definitely got a lot of bang for my buck. Zero to 60 in 7 seconds isn't bad for a touring sedan.
I prefer the '18 Camry, but the more I see this redesigned Accord, the more I'm beginning to appreciate its design.
This is how all vehicle reviews should be. Too many car reviews focus on what we already know such as how the car looks. I can use my eyes and see how the car looks. I need to know the features and functionality of the vehicle. I need to know what things look like and how they work. I didnt realize the glass was acoustically lined. I like that you took the time to show the infotainment buttons and their functions. Too many people overlook the things that we would use from day-to-day. Wow homelink buttons, I wonder if that is standard on touring models 🤔. Yay a sunglasses holder!
Great job in explaining all the features. Thank you. I am just not sure I could spend the extra $4,000.00 so maybe the EX L. I am researching and I have a mobility van to sell.
Wow this is a very thorough dealership video. Great job. The rear styling, 1.5 turbo engine and macpherson struts concern me but the design of the interior is overall a good leap forward!

I was at a dealership but I don't work for a dealership. Thanks for watching :)
I just bought me one 🥰 can’t wait to drive it
Good thing that Honda still makes engines look more like having a lot of stuff unlike others where everything is less and covered up
This guy deserves more subs!!! Great vid!
Very nice video as always can you please make a 1.5 sports video too. Thanks Mike
Very nice and thorough review
damn! i'm starting to love this car so much! This car looks nice in black.
VERY well done video! Thanks!
Mike please! Camry Accord direct comparison is in huge demand.
Hi mike!! Great review! Can you do a 2018 Ram 1500 Laramie review? Because I know you did one before but that is old...please?
The accord destroys the camry, its so modern an nice... Excellent job honda...
My dream Honda sedan!! Nice review bro.
Very Impressive, hoping next model they will have opt. for power panoramic roof and power folding side mirrors.
You should consider using the single palm method of steering at low speeds. I use the same claw type grip on the steering wheel and it lends itself nicely to the single palm method of steering. Just push your palm into the wheel and use it to turn. Its superior at low speed parking lot scenarios.
I have one of these, and it's a fabulous car.
Great review. The yellow finger is brilliant. Keep using it. Lol
Mike. Can you do a walk around review on the 2018 accord sport 1.5 turbo or the 2.0 turbo please
Excellent detailed video. 👍
You should show us what the horn sounds like. Anyways, nice review!
Flawless video man 👑
Thank you so helpful video.
I love this car. The shape is growing on me and the inside is great. I'd love it even more if the fake wood had a high shine like in the Maxima.
Great video; thanks.
Great review .. the pointing finger is a good idea
Don't look as bad as I thought on the outside. I think I'm going to wait for the 2020 model. I have a 2015 car now.
As usual, great video. What the heck Honda with the hood hold up? My old 2003 Accord was held up without any old style hold up. Also. Zero rear seat usb charging?
I love the little hand. What was that chiming when you were driving it? No seat belt?
beautiful ride
Did you notice if the center armrest slides forward at all? My 2010 Accord had that feature and I loved it (I'm 5' tall and have to move my seat up). When I traded to my 2016 Accord it's a feature that I've really missed. I'm up too far to reach the armrest. 😖😩
I can't believe honda and toyota have standard safety features like bsa, collision mitigation, and adaptive cruise, while luxury brands nickel and dime you for options. I'll still take my mercedes but, it would be nice to get a new car with standard features as mentioned.

Awesome video!
If you get a chance please review the base model.
i have the 2017 accord V6 coupe, did they discontinued that because most people prefer a spacious car like the 4 door? . beautiful car btw 👍🏻.
This design is starting to grow on me.. However, I don't really care for the new tail lights & I wish Honda kept the same rims from the 2016-17 Sport/Touring trims & put them on this vehicle.... I'm surprised the 2018 Accord Touring requires a prop to hold up the hood when my 2011 Accord EX-L V6 doesn't require one. Strange lol

Baasil F. Weight reduction bae, so 4 banger VTEC doesn’t have push that hard to pull this 3800 pounds car around, R.I.P. V6😭
@bobsmith9603

Baasil F. That’s because they only featured the hold up stand on the 4 cylinder versions. The V6’s didn’t require it though...

I love the new Accord, and hated the taillights too, but then I saw people blacking our the reverse white light portion, and they look fantastic in my opinion! It makes the taillights look amazing on a black Accord!
Does 'Global Open' - the ability to open all the windows by pressing and holding the unlock button on the key fob available on the new Accords?
Nice vid just subbed
The styling is impressively good.
Very luxurious Honda!
Hi Mike, terrific video. Question: Did the car you tested include the optional chrome package (listed on their website when you build the car online) or was this the chrome that comes standard with the Touring Edition. Thanks!!

+Ryan Schneider I don't see any added options on the sticker. Sticker is shown at 39:00
Small issue but wouldn't you think the top trim line would have automatic struts to hold the hood open?
whats the main differences between 2020, 2019 and this 2018. shape, outside design and features
Good review! Sweet ride!
Great video bro
Good review.
So clean!
My future car 💪 Honda is the best 👍

I fucking died when he pulled out the plastic hand pointer. LMFAO
Could you do a 2020 Honda Accord Touring review please ?
Hello Mike. Great detailed video. Do you know when Honda will release the 2.0 Turbo Touring version of this Accord? Thank you.

Michael I love your finger pointer. LOL. I have the 2017 Honda Touring....I love it so. I fill up once a month . But V6 is for guys which I hear they don't make in Touring. But this 18' why did Honda sit an Etch A Sketch on dashboard...

Could you do a night review so I can see the lights better?
The car is rusted badly in southkorea Is other countries the same?
I like the little yellow head u got there
Nice review.....
honda should cover up where the rear speakers are in the trunk so they dont get damamged by your cargo and cause problems but they just left in exposed. and while u were drivinf why are u holding the steering wheel like its too hot or too cold
Anyone have an issue with the driver seat door needing a lot of force to close completely? I slightly have to slam it
Although I like the new Camry, it's over stylized and won't age as well.
@Jsmoove8k
6 жыл бұрын
W-_-T I noticed that too .. since the 2012 models , nearly all accords age well 10 years down the road
Great car
Nice vid. Which trim comes with the gear stick? Ive seen some videos and photos of the accord without one.
@MikesCarInfo

Manual transmission is available in all trims.
Where is the power steering fluid located in the new Honda ?
EXCELLENT video. What ever the car people are paying you to do this, they should pay you more.

I receive no money from the dealerships or the manufacturers. Thanks
it must be premium pakage model. Going up to 30 thousand?
Wonder if Honda using the same headlight manufacture from 2016-17 model cars if so first problem your going to encounter in the 2018 Accord is dead headlight DRL, and it kinda looks the same DRL design from 2016-17 accord, I'm going to wait for the mid-cycle refresh, Refresh tends to look better then first gen
@JrVtec
6 жыл бұрын
Agreed, Whoever provided those led drl's fucked up bad, My friend wants to swap his for the touring headlights but when the drl goes out it wouldn't be warrantied so he's undecided.
@34skyline
6 жыл бұрын
yea those touring headlight are the shit but expensive to replace $1300 each and that not include install unless you know how to install the headlight yourself but $2600 for both that's a lot of money for something that will go bad, Tell your friend not to do it waste of money
@iCoNz1997

When can we expect the mid-cycle refresh to come out?
lool first time watching...that pointer hand...always use it.
A hood prop on a Touring? Or, is that on the 1.5L only?
15:09 - Wonder why most of the car manufacturers dropped the plastic engine cover from their newer models.... sort of cost cutting to keep the final price lower?
@MikesCarInfo
6 жыл бұрын
I never understood the purpose of the plastic covers to begin with.
Why Honda don’t do auto side mirrors so it shuts and open itself when u remote lock or open the door
